False advertising. The first Slavic Fantasy film was "Cudotvorni Mac" aka "The Magic Sword" aka "The Sword of Miracles" (1950). And as for Slavic Fantasy, its been around for a looooooong time before Volkodav.

I have seen this movie, and I think it is great, realy enjoyable to watch, beautiful scenery, and a nice story. Worthwhile to my opinion.

it's kind of like a russian beowolf legend, this guys a little more humble than beowolf though, and more believable in terms of what people know about him. it's definitely worth watching
