1. It seems the guitar isn't tuned to exact pitch. Additionally, you played out of key.
2. While I hear you quoting a number of Vai lines, you can't exactly say this is a Vai-styled jam.
3. A note on the guitar classification: I believe this is a JEM333 a.k.a. JEM Jr. guitar. The JEM505 has a maple fretboard and an Edge bridge. Yours has a rosewood fretboard and, I think, an Edge Pro II/Edge III.
