I don't post to message boards, but this was the KEY I needed for my script. I tried everywhere for info on AJAX tutorials, and it always fell down. I have come back to this tutorial over three weeks, and then I found it had everything I needed to get me going in AJAX/ PHP. Thank you !!, I can now move on....

I have a question for Ali, The thing is you made a tutorial for dropdown using Ajax+ PHP , what if I wanted to use Servlets to fetch the data from the database, how do you change the procedure for that??

I have two drop down Menu Country and India.

How to use AJAX Technology that when I click on one country in the Drop Down Menus, AJAX scrips comes into Picture and a new Drop Down Menu of states populates Just below the Country Without actually refreshing the Whole Page...
