  • @nydefect was that a cable show that had Led Zeppelin's Carousalambra as the main theme?

  • @TheEWFX29 actually, the show with Carousalambra was not Video Juke Box (which was an HBO show) but Video Concert Hall. I used to catch it when we first got cable in 1979. Fortunately, there's a blog devoted to the show and has many videos. Remember Shooting Star, "You've Got What I Need"? And Tycoon's "Such A Woman"? Unfortunately, they don't have the Motors video. I used to have VHS tape with all these on them, dammit.

  • what memories,,god how i loved this song and still do

  • Brother and I used to watch the video on Video Jukebox when we first got cable in 1980. Liked the song and thought they were talented. Never heard the song again till now. Thanks.

  • Definetely should have been a bigger hit, peaked at #78 on Hot 100 week of 6/7/80.

  • 0:10 - 0:38 ,,0:49-1:02 sound techno80s

  • "...and the place we live is just a new street number on an old address"...

Check out Joe South's 'Games People Play' for prescient confirmation from 1969..

  • Awesome memories. Played this in a cover band in the early 90s. wow, nice post.

  • Great song, from a long forgotten band, when they made real music...thanx for the track, wonder if anyone has the Nightmoves tv show from the 80s with The Motors singing this, great video if someone can dig it up, hosted by Symond Lee from radio station 3XY in Melbourne...

  • Oh, the memories! Classic!

  • Oh, the memories! Classic!

  • Does anyone remember which Motors songs appeared on Video Concert Hall in the early 80s?

  • I believe it was this one(Love and Lonliness.) That video was the reason I bought the album. It was never played on local radio.
