There are a lot of questions being raised about the origins of these "donor" bodies were actually obtained. Sounds like a conspiracy theory, but did you know that a lot of China's transplanted organs are from executed prisoners? The issue: did these people consent to being put on display?

@lunitaa123 This is what my daughter and I were told when we visited the exhibit in our city. AFTER we paid the admission, proceeded through a good part of the exhibit, someone walked by...we asked if there were pamphlets or some information to go along with the exhibit. We "should have received" the information as entering. The man continued to answer questions, one of which was regarding the donation of bodies. He told us that they were Asian people who were unclaimed at death. Disturbing.

Guys, they didn't kill them. These are like one of those donating there bodys to science kinda things. They would have fallen and injured there brain, they could have had a heart attack, they could have bled internally. Its not like they don't have a choice. If I donated my body to science I'd like it to go toward research for better understanding of the human body, so we can develop medicine to prolong our lives and healthier living. Not to be put up on a exhibit! They should split the catagorys into 2. Donate your body to science and donate your body to art.

I have been. It smells just like air. Like nothing. They preserve the bodys with some coating of wax or something. The one I went to had babies also and organs in jars.

I don't think it does, the bodies are completely dehydrated and/or replaced with some type of silicone I believe.

It is wrong to use anyone's body, especially without his or her consent and anything comes out of China is sure without consent. That is what happens when China only has 1 party government. No one can criticize the Chinese gov't and when you do, anything can happen to that person. Look at the human right violations that China has committed. The number is staggering.

They ran into a bit of trouble at one time explaining exactly where the bodies camefrom. There are rumors that say they are simply factory workers no one cared about and are illegally put on display with out consent of the person before hand.
