  • I also saw Martin in the 80's, without The Daintees, in a Theatre in Birmingham. Nice to see he 'still has it'...he sounds great. I'd still pay to see him.

  • I first heard him sing this with the Daintees back in 1982 - they were supporting John Martyn.

    The tempo on this version makes it sound too 'hurried' which is a shame as the original style with which he sang this was much more sublime.
