  • WHOO-PIE

  • The background laughing didn't help any.

  • How's that homeless problem today?

  • @chimptor50 I believe they still do Comic Relief every year.

  • WOW. I just remembered how bad comedy was in the 90s.

  • the canned laughter killed it. it might have been funny otherwise.

  • This was bad ass! This made me laugh!

I say great job ST:TNG crew!!

  • Whoo-pie. LOL.

  • What kind of a name is "Who-Pie"?

  • I can't believe I just watched original TNG material that I've never seen before. Thank you!

  • I bought a Comic Relief '87 T-shirt off e-bay for 20 bucks.

    My life is now complete.

  • @ItsTurningGreen002 well, in about 300 years it apparently won't be worth a thing.

  • @Dancerpaw Well, unless my family decides it necessary when I died to be cryogenically frozen and then awakened 300 years later, I won't have that problem.

  • I love how they did this. Star Trek is great in the first place, but when they support a charity cause by doing humor...awesome. I favorited this!!! :D

  • this some corny ass shit...

  • who disliked this video?! weirdos.

  • bring this crew back! Fuck J.J. Abrams and his dive into the original series...the original series is over, let the next generation run it!

  • @1rammstein21

    TNG = 5 stars

    Original = 4 stars

    DS9 = 3 stars

    Voyager = 2 moons

    Enterprise = 1/2 a moon

Generations = 1 mole of dust particulate

  • @1rammstein21

Not only 2009 was bad but I always felt that Star Trek was aleays meant to be a show, Movies seemed like just a way to make quick buck with bad writing relying on the the fact that people loved the show.

  • @1rammstein21

Also, I would've hoped that if they had to make a movie, it should've been entirely original cast, not original and not TNG. Thats a risky step and no one has the guts to take it except a few handful of writers/directors

  • That wasn't very funny. I don't know what the audience was laughing at.

  • It's 63 droids with a busted emotion chip then.

  • In the first few seconds, notice Riker when he stands up - He does the "Picard Maneuver" with his hands straightening his shirt.. classic! They obviously couldnt get Patrick Stewart for the skit - so, Riker being in the Captain's chair, he stands up, and does the Picard maneuver.. a nice in-joke!

  • @BillinHungary all of the men characters pull down the shirts frequently.

  • hwooo-pie lol

  • I can hear the forth wall crumbling!

  • Comment removed

  • How can you not like this show???

  • 62 people don't give rat's bump for the homeless and have no sense of humor. They should become homeless themselves and in need of some comic relief. Good job STTNG. Don't let these poo poo lovers bring you down.

  • !! Data used contractions! :D

  • LOVE !!!

  • Whoo-pie....Worf's face....XD

  • Wow Ive been watching stng since i was alil kid and I never saw this b4... great stuff

  • Whoo pie is good with Cool Quip

  • I remember seeing this in '94. Whoopi's reaction was "Whoo-pie!!?" :p

  • Is this canon?

  • @TomSFox

no. it was some thing they did for comic relief because whoopi goldberg guest stared as guinan the series

  • @archersangel1 Still, this should be canon.

  • @TomSFox Yep, it's canon.

  • LOVE this! Thanks for posting

  • @snotbowst

Data is fully capable of speaking contractions; he simply doesn't incorporate them in his original speech patterns. He said "there's" specifically because the 'credo' he was quoting contained it. To not include the contraction would be an incorrect quotation.

  • I think I laughed most with the guy with the mullet coming in to take over the security position.

  • To all wondering, Picard's not in this because he's too busy jerking off in his Ready Room to naked pictures of Beverly and Troi.

  • Why have i never heard of this?!

  • their face when they realize whoopi goldberg is guinan

    WIN

  • The good ole days. These actors were awesome. They should have made a few more comedic episodes.

  • This is great stuff ha ha ha ha :)

  • Simply splendid!

  • "where there is laughter, there is hope"

    what a great quote

  • @neb1029 Except Data says "There's" when he isn't supposed to use contractions...

  • data the original stewie !

  • wherr eese Peecard?

  • Whoopii plays guinan in tng! Look it up, the actresses name is whoopii!!!

  • sooo...is this canon?

  • What kind of a name is Hoo-Pie?

  • That was great.

  • RFLMAO!

  • Help Save Stargate Universe!

    watch?v=VRpZt25guMQ

  • @AnonymousPanacea Never!

  • Wow never knew about this. it's pretty awesome. And Guinan has been around since at least the 19th century, so she could be this Whoo-pie they mentioned lol.

  • i love Data's look of disgust at the t-shirt hahaha XD

  • How successful were that at reducing homeless? Well in 2011 we have more homeless than ever, so a big FAIL.

  • Oh Lord. Amazing XD

  • Another great reason to watch this show.

  • :)) watch this worf

    /watch?v=SHd2eDwUEQg

  • Worf's face at 2:03 haha

  • Freakin awesome!

  • LOL! Where did you find this?

  • WHOOPI! I love her. xD

  • i never saw this clip, .. awesome stuff, .. man, just love this so much, i was just a kid back than, 10-13 yrs old, but still enjoy the show, it kinda makes me sad cuz i can relive it LIVE if you know what i mean..?? .. and to be older when i am watching it "live".. :DDD

  • Hoop-I xD

  • Oh dear god...

  • cool

  • This was pretty neat. I never saw it though.

  • wow never knew this existed...pretty cool

  • theirs always hope for the 90s of The next generation

  • hi fans

  • MY FAVOURITE

  • Whoo-pie

  • i love this...

  • So good!

  • that was cute!

  • Where was Patrick Stewart? He just went down on my estimation.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 when this was filmed, patrick stewart was doing his one man show of "A Christmas Carol" and couldn't get there due to contractual obligations..

  • @gamerken Hmm, I wondered. Maybe Picard was taking shore leave for a while, leaving the Enterprise in everyone else's more than capable hands.

  • a ponytail like worf is better

  • dude this show is the bomb

  • the way they say whoopi like hoo pie is almost the same as when stewie says cool whip ;)

  • @MaRkIpArK As they were all wondering, whoopi goldberg plays the bartender in that show heh.

  • booooo!

  • Data used contactions, damnit......smh

  • @DirtyPigeon84 I noticed that too. Such a geek

  • who'pie is a klingon name

  • I didn't know that they had Comic Relief in the US.

  • hilarious!

  • Who pie??? XD

  • "is that guinan?"

Bwahahahahahahaahahahahaha I think i just died laughing!!!!!

  • I'll give many dollars if Data's on sale!!!!

  • wheres patrick stewart/picard??

  • I died laughing and then I had a thought... Worf with a red nose.

Noble cause though. Data's little bit at the end had a good message.

  • i love worf's face.. 2:04n "50/50 blend of cotton and polyester"

  • AWE, Too bad they outlawed polyester eh? I really would like one of those Tea sherts... 50/50 cotton and polyester. Now why would that be outlawed????

  • not funny.

  • "Where there's laughter, there's hope."

    I like that. =)

  • Red Shirt Mullets of the 24th Century!

  • Pretty class!

How good. Man I miss the old TNG crew. Imagine when these dudes are dead. How sad that will be.

  • They could of atleast gotten a decent writer, Rather then just repeat facts and figures that they've no doubt been repeating the whole night long.

  • I can understand that Data would emphasis "T" in t-shirt. But I guess they don''t sweat anymore in the 24th century, so Data had to say "sweat" shirt. Anyways still a funny skit. Anyone know if he two ensigns behind the tactical station were anyone significant? They seemed to have framed that shot with them in mind.

  • *yawn*

  • Yes, it's an episode, from the Morons collection.

  • @backinthecrystal

    That was uncalled for.

  • sorry man. No such luck.

I just wish they put this skit in the disc sets.

  • who-pie lol

  • Who would you choose Data or Spock?

  • Spock, just cause he could pinch you and knock you the fuck out

  • So couldn't Data. He knows the neck pinch.

  • Data can do the same thing lol

  • Guinan/Whoopi is everywhere in the star trek universe. The 19th century, the nexus, the enterprise, the enterprise in alternative universes and timelines, I wouldnt be surprised if the physicists in the star trek universe found that it was really composed of little Guinans on the subatomic level. She is the most magical of all negroes, able to solve most problems with a single look and subdue the Q continuum with an angry stare.

  • Holy Crap that's hilarious!

  • LMAO i love this skit!!!

  • I love Worf's reaction to what the shirts were made out of. And the Whoo-Pie Goldberg part is funny.

  • Wait... 20 million was distributed, but only 0.5 million received medical services? That doesn't sound right.

Regardless though, tng kicks ass! and so does who-pie

  • 47 USD per treatment sounds about right.

  • @drgroove101

$40/person. That's some cheap medical care even given it's 80's money so more like $100 now.

  • Yea im retarded and didn't do the math before i commented. Sounded like not that much when I first heard it.

    I agree with you.

  • that was great!!! I also like the Dr. who Comic relief did

  • where's picard?

  • anyone know the name of the episode where an alien steals warfs poker chips and kicks his ass?

and id rather sleep with beverly crusher than troi

  • Eh, it would of been better if Worf said the shirts had HONOR!!!1

  • Absolutely magic offering from TNG

  • Amazing.

  • Full of win!

  • I cannot believe this!!!

  • Thanks for the upload, you are the kind of person that truly makes YouTube special, instead of just one huge episode of AFV. (golfclap)

  • WIN. P:

  • Heh, wtf. Nice upload

  • very humourous especially for Star Trek fans.

  • Spoken like a true bigot! Way to show the greatness of non-americans!!

  • Hoo pie?

    NAH!

  • T *up* shirt

    Sweat *up* shirt

    luv ya data!

  • hehe I bet they couldn't get Patrick Stewart interested in doing this

  • I'm surprised actually, he seems like a funny guy in real life......

  • Actually he was in England working on the movie at the time.

  • thats funny, i've not seen that before

  • just goes to show.....

HOW FRIKIN AWESOME STAR TREK IS

  • WHOO-PIE!

  • LOL "You couldn't GIVE these shirts away today.."

  • Whoo-pie Goldberg!

  • I'm trying to grow a bread like Riker

  • I tried a long while back. My facial hair doesn't grow the right way. I was wanting to grow a beard, but didn't know who to pattern it on, so I was watching TNG one day and said "That is an awesome beard." I was rather disappointed when it didn't work out.

  • +1 for bread.

  • @Tacom4ster I wish I could grow a bread, but the dough just sticks all over the place.

  • @Tacom4ster You'll need lots of yeast to grow Rikerbread.

  • @Tacom4ster "Make it so!" :D

  • @Tacom4ster its been 8 months hows that beard coming along?

  • @Tacom4ster lmao a bread

  • @Tacom4ster Sounds delicious.

  • @Tacom4ster What kind of wheat are you using?

  • I have been a TNG fan since its inception. Never have I seen a more comical "conceptulation

  • hooopie

  • I literally loled at who-pie

  • Well I think even funnier is "911 Trek"

and "911 Lessons from Star Trek"

just put these into the youtube search engine.

  • wow that was cool i never saw this commercial then again i was a youngin back then.

  • Data can't use contractions lol

  • lol i dident understand it was a commercial and not a real episode until 2:25 lol..

  • Does HwOOPYE eat cool Hwip?

  • ACT SPINER ACT!!!!!!!

  • I saw this clip years ago at a con and thought I'd never see it again. Still as funny as I remember.

  • I love how Data stresses the words that are the most important to the sentence's.

    "Teeee-shirt"

  • hahaha

  • excellently done!
