  • you guys have serious balls and a tremendous amount of respect...I can't wait to see the next vid...Thank you!

  • @tonyeye1 Thanks Tony!

  • Great work fellas!!!

  • @weblips Thank you!!!

  • i dont know what to say my mind has been reduced to mush

you guys must have ALOT of time on your hands:)

  • Music is great!!!!! Lead vocals so-so, but Roger ain't easy to sing, that's for sure....back-up vocals very decent....over-all I liked it. LONG LIVE PETE!!!!!!! LONG LIVE THE WHO!!!!!! Greatest band of ALL time!!!!! Keep rockin' it guys!!!!!!

  • @dersh65 Not easy at all! Thank you!!!

  • not that you didnt do well, but i think the solo should have been at least a little improvised

seems almost an exact copy of johns

  • @ppizza81 That's why we are a 'tribute' act! Thanks for the comment!

  • Bloody awesome bass solo Gareth!

  • Great job as always guys. My only comment is that it seems a little rushed. Just my personal opinion.

You guys still kick the asses of any other Who tribute band out there. Nowt wrong with speaking the truth, eh? :-))

I especially love the fact that you all put your own characters into the parts that you are playing. It's nice not to hear it done note for note.

  • @lexy67flc The Who never did the same thing twice did they, so if it's good enough for them....

We did it at RAH speed, because any slower and the solo drags. but you are bang on the sweet spot re: the tempo.

  • Dude! you TOTALLY rock! The bass lead was amazing! You are a deserving owner of Entwhistle's Buzzard!

  • @Musecrafter That is very kind of you. Cheers!

  • dammm men...gareth you did excellent! , I love the bass solo part, you are great bass player

and you have the best bass guitars hehe hope to have someday a buzzard later hehe

This excellent, I love this cover, 5 stars!

  • Thank you! Hope you get your dream bass!

  • Awesome stuff guy's. Hypnotic...Excellent, + this will be cyberjam #105.

    Regards,

    Paul.

  • also, during the bass solo, zak starkey just kept the mere accompaniment by providing a simple beat and doing nothing fancy, here, the drummer gets to show off more, not saying like it's a bad thing, just pointing out a fact :)

  • What can I say.... we're all show offs! ;-)

  • haha

  • ur bass is not very loud here, thunderfingers' bass was way louder than this at the royal albert hall!!!!!! but, overall it is very good and comes very close to the actual bass solo!!!!!!

  • Thanks. I think it is a mixture actually. It is volume a little but it is also the frequencies that the Buzzard produces as compared to the Alembic. The Buzzard produces a higher frequency so it is more audible. I'll have to redo the solo with my Status Buzzard! :-)

  • Gareth...do you just buy the basses entwistle played? You got a '66 Slab precision yet? :p

  • Pretty much! No fenders though - not a big fan to be honest....

  • wow howd you learn to play the bass solo

  • A big mug of coffee and lotsa patience!

  • lol

  • Awesome Cover! If I see you guys are touring i'll be buying tixs!

  • Cheers!

  • this is too hard for this effort

try cocktails in the blue red and grey....feckin fab tune aswell

  • Five stars!!!

  • Cheers buddy!

  • Great job on this one, gareth - you totally killed on the solo!!!!

  • Oh you have a Pete on guitar. Nice cover!

  • Of course! Cheers.

  • thats a great jam session, wish bands still did those, todays its all about rollin in the money.

  • amazing bass solo, you rule!!!

  • Cheers buddy!

  • Fan freaking brilliant!! I really hate to be the pr@ck who points out a (very minor!) misstep..but if you want perfection..here 'goes.. I think it's"Their heroes are news". I could be totally wrong. and it really doesn't matter 'cause you gentlemen have more than done the song justice. And that solo shreds.

  • great!

  • Oh my god ...

Man Iam learning how to play bass too, but I see that I must learn so much. This song is just light years ahead of present music.

I wish you a great carrer, cause you are a lot better than a lot of all "stars" that we have present times !!!

  • Thank you, and good luck with the bass!

  • Am I allowed to swear here? F**cking excellent.

  • Thanks!

  • WOW- much better!! (the other 1 was still really good, but this 1 trumps it!) ty 4 the tips, hope u guys keep making great vids!!

  • dude, that was fuckin incredbile. i've seen a few of your videos, all great, then i seen 5.15, one of my favorite who songs. you got entwistle nailed man, not a weak link in this band, just like the who!

  • Dude. It would be intense, if you all put together quadrophenia. The album is an artwork, and all you guys need is a piano player. In all seriousness, Great Job, this really was Spectacular

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • Wow that is very impressive! Look forward to all of your stuff.

  • Thanks!

  • Amazing! What a kicking bass! One question: Do all of you guys play to the Who? I mean the original recording of RAH?

Love the shot of Chris at 01:38. Don't know why, though.

  • Chris does and then we add the guitars afterward.

  • that was exellent! great bass solo

  • Cheers Andy!

  • Thank you.

  • Merci Phil. Je ne pouvais espérer d'imiter

    John.

  • Great job guys, keep up the good work.

  • Thanks Biff!
