I agree with you. There was a time in the past when I grew so frustrated with the system that I tried checking out and not really following current events. The inevitable happened, when a major event occurred I couldn't ignore it & I didn't have any context and it was much more difficult to deal with.

As it stands with this when Bush goes on TV and tells us that we're at war with a nuclear power I'll know what to do with the information and I'll know which of his words are lies. That is power.
