  • i fuckin wish i was alive in the 90's there were my 2 favorite bands, Smashing Pumkins and Nirvana. BUUTTT NOOO i gotta grown uo in this fuckin retard generation..

  • @MyNamesDrGreenthumb You weren't alive in the 90s? So you're what... 2 at best?

  • @KCwellard lol im 14

  • its perfect

  • many nights in the 90's where it was just me, my kind bud and the Pumpkins. Ya know why? They are no bullshit! Bottom line? They f**cking jam!

  • reliving my well spent youth listening to this :)

  • This song always reminds of Jimmy Hendrix jumping out of airplanes as a paratrooper. Hendrix always talked about the sounds the wind made during the jump and how he would try to emulate those sounds when he played guitar. I mean this song has that fearless,no abandon feel to it. Like what Hendrix described. The guitars are fierce.

  • don't you people have better things to do than bashing the bible? Just enjoy the damn song

  • @pedskon lol u mad?

  • @digs0795 are you 10?

  • @pedskon I'm old enough to not believe the bibles fairytales

  • @digs0795 yeah yeah...

  • 2 people fucking suck

  • how did they get this great guitar sound at the beginning ???

  • @FunkyTrembe its called a G-O-O-D G-U-I-T-A-R P-L-A-Y-E-R

  • @MillitaRyGangsteR thanks ;)

  • this has to be their best song...

  • @MillitaRyGangsteR hey idk im a guy brought up on rap/hip hop r&b (i dnt listen 2 2days music it sucks). i needed some music to listen to u kno.. so i picked up on rock music MAINLY from RockBand :p i was like i like these songs so tried it out. download Siamese Dream and let me tell u its a beautiful album. I listen from 1-5 then skip to Greek USA on dwn to silverfu*k. only 4 songs i dnt care too much about. But all those songs are so great its hard to pick the best.

  • Anything Billy touched was gold in my books. I love all SP. If you cared about it all you would have given it a real chance.

  • @MrDimebuck Don't forget Chamberlin. My greatest idol.

  • @thekrokorok Of course, what was I thinking?

  • @thealphaomega, that's unfortunate for you, very much so.

  • anything that came out of Smashing Pumpkins during 91'-95' was Great.....anything after, lost me.

  • How can any of you forget naming Melancholie and Infinite Sadness in the top tier. . . ?

  • @Insertdice piece of piss, for me they died after this album.

  • it is like two amazing songs.... there's before 4:30 and then there's after that....And I have to say I am in love with the later part of this song....It is sublime.

  • Siamese dream and Adore are probably the best albums of SP .. as 4 the Hummer .. the song speaks 4 itself .. just fuckin' GREAT !!!

  • They have a lot of amazing songs, but to me this one has always been their best. "Mayonaise" is a close second but after that only the outstanding songs are left.

  • why is this song not written in the fucking bible

  • @CrimsonGetsu Because the Smashing Pumpkins aren't bullshit.

  • @thekrokorok lmao we think alike

  • @thekrokorok probably the best comment ive seen on youtube. props m8

  • @thekrokorok "amen"

  • @CrimsonGetsu lollllllllll well said sir, well said

  • 2:09 - 2:22: Some of my favorite lyrics of all time. Perfect.

  • Nirvana or Pumkins .. melodie 10 points for Pumkin

  • amazing song!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm an atheist. :D

  • Jesus is LORD

  • @jimmys47 Shhhhhh, go away

  • Great poetry. Great music. Wish I could do that.

  • @markchapterthirteen And u can... The trick to making good music. is you don`t try to.. You just let it happen.. You let it flow in moment...

  • love this track so much, first heard this album about 10 years ago and i couldn't remember the name of it...so glad i found it again <3

  • @foggylegs It doesn't start brilliantly. In fact, it sucks until the bass comes in.

  • This song makes me wanna jizz my pants

  • I love this CD despite the fact that it reminds me of a no-good guy! I'll always love my Billy.

  • Comment removed

  • die hard, long time Phish fan.....die hard....but not a wook...K? Not mother fucker! Anywho......I missed out of the Pumpkins but live my youth during their time......I need to see them LIvE......digging this band. good stuff...

  • They killed this song, raised it from the dead, and slaughtered it again.

  • I totally forgot how much I loved this band! Dreamy hard rock.

  • I love all of their songs! Im Fukken obsessed with Gish and Siamese Dream ATM... But I am completely obsessed over smashing pumpkins

  • @hunniimooree Same haha. I go from band to band. Used to be Radiohead, then Muse, and now Smashing Pumpkins. ;)

  • Any chance of you posting "Set the Ray to Jerry"? I've never heard it and all I can find on here is live versions. I heard it's an awesome underrated gem.

  • 0:53 sick!

  • thank God for the smashing pumpkins.

  • Smashing Pumpkins Connect to my Soul, Billy Corgan knows how to make meaningful music.. Of course the older stuff is better w/ original members and when they were going thru problems... The drama made their music legendary...

  • I cannot explain how many nuts this song made my mind bust. WOW. 0:54.

  • Hummer of Foals is fuckin amazing, but this is the real Hummer :D

  • I needed this.

  • after mellon collie smashing pumpkins went downhill

  • @MrSmashingpumpkins12 dude i understand wat ur sayin but theres some good shit they made after u cant b trapped wit the old forever but i totaly get wat ur sayin they lost that feel of "wee dont care about the money. its all to put us out there and see wat ppl think"

  • @avgerinos45 i listened to adore and zeitgeist and a few of that keilodoscope stuff and its just not smashing pumpkins, i hate to say it but they did lose it, well i think anyway

  • @avgerinos45 whenever i think of sp i think of gish, pisces, siamese dream and mellon collie

  • @MFRMPt How the hell can you be a Pumpkins fan without ever hearing Machina?

  • guess who put thumb down...

  • I've sort of been mulling over in my head what my favourite album of all time is for a long time. And to be honest, I can't think of a single one that can knock this one down. Every single song on this album is so good. Lyrically and musically, this band is perfection in my mind. Love em.

  • thks for taking the time

really hard to find mellon collie stuff about though... and that was just, well, such a different thing to buy at the time.

  • Suddenly I feel 16 again, without the compulsive desire to masturbate.

  • one of the best songs from siamese dream, they are all great, but this one is a littlebit greater.

Love it... bought it when it came out in 93. Still cant get enough of it.

  • almost 20 years since i last heard this, yet still, havent forgotten a note or a word.

  • I totally adhere to the last commentator? In fact? I was just gonna say the same damn thing! Aint that a bitch?

  • Nothing on earth, NOTHING can amount to the last 2 minutes and 30 seconds of this song NOTHING

  • .....At 4.30 I spooged in my Pants!!

  • This song is by far my favourite song of all time... Not any other song can beat the amazingness of this pure genius. At 4.30 the song gives me the shivers. Check out the Pinkpop 94 version. Thats probably the only thing that tops the actual song. the performance is unreal. Fucken ace

  • THIS SONG IS SO GOOD

  • tyvm for uploading Siamese and Gish. Could you plz upload Melon Collie + IS? Plzzzz?

  • billy was the best guitarist of the grunge groups. jerry cantrell was 2nd.

  • I love Smashing Pumpkins and Fixing Gourds

  • @MFRMPt Adore and Machina grow on you. they didnt have Jimmy C for the Adore album, so its all done with a drum machine. The fact that Mellon Collie was probably one of the greatest (alt. rock) albums ever created, it makes it a hard act to follow, so i think they decided to do something completely different Just read on wiki that Billy characterized Adore as "a band falling apart". Their variety alone makes them one of the greatest bands ever. you dont see it anymore really to their extent imo.

  • @MFRMPt hey do you have Adore and Machina? Because i really wish those albums were still up and since you put Gish and Siamese i wondered if you could get those albums up too

  • @975mas Mmm, I don't know. I really was not a fan of the direction Smashing Pumpkins took in Adore whatsoever, and I still need to listen to Machina.

  • @twistedexistence Ava Adore sounds nothing like anything like from Gish or Siamese Dream, and nor does a lot of the rest of the songs in the album. I haven't heard anything from after Adore yet.

  • @MFRMPt adore is really good, youre wrong on that one. though it isnt as hard as gish, siamese, and mellencollie, the absence of chamberlain played a part in that, it does still have the softer pumpkins style that is also heard on their first three albums. machina is also very good.

  • @MFRMPt Adore was their best album. Fuck the haters who say it's not a "real" Smashing Pumpkins album because that junkie Chamberlain wasn't on it. It was far and the best work that Smashing Pumpkins ever produced.

  • @MFRMPt Ever been to a live concert? Adore songs live without all the studio magic are amazing. Ava Adore was one of the best he played at the show I went to, and he played 4 songs from Siamese Dream.

  • @MFRMPt I am not a huge fan of their past few albulms but there are still some really good tracks. Starla was my fav from Zeitgeist. which is my least fav albulm so..

  • @MFRMPt I know what you mean man, Gish and Siamese are absolute bliss. I did really enjoy a few songs on Zeitgeist though but nothing compares to the first two.

  • @MFRMPt You are correct but I sincerely recommend, from one ghost child to another, do yourself a favor and check out Machina. Like Mellon Collie it has a range of sounds and some more old school takes you may like. Happy listening =D

  • @twistedexistence dude, adore was a total change of style for them,

  • @twistedexistence Before they made Adore, they kicked out the drummer, Jimmy Chaimberlin and used a drum machine, plus they changed it to techno emo style not alt. rock.

  • @twistedexistence Zeitgeist is a great album, they just hadn't hit their forte yet. I actually really enjoy listening to that album. It seems very raw, unlike the rest of SP.

  • @twistedexistence Smashing Pumkins have always sounded the same? Are you kidding me? Gish was very gritty grungy sounding, particularly with "Siva," "Rhinoceros," and "I Am One." Siamese Dream was a Shoegaze fan's wet dream. Mellon Collie integrated Hard Rock with elements of Dreampop found in the previous album. Adore placed heavy emphasis on drum machines. Machina was just a clusterfuck of stuff.

Though I totally agree with you about Zeitgeist. It was the only Pumpkins album to disgust me.

  • @twistedexistence see thats what i love about the pumpkins, they have something for everyone. Personally, I love pretty mush everything they have ever done, and I actaully feel that zeitgeist was closer to siamese dream than anything else that came out after it. You should give it another listen.

  • lol

  • @twistedexistence No they haven't are you mad??? You think machina sounds like siamese dream?? Pieces iscariot??

  • @TheLydianRocks the person has no clue what they are saying..every album is distinctly different..to anyone with a brain anyways.. lol

  • @MFRMPt you are right I definitley like Gish, Siamese. and Mellon Collie much better than Adore and Machina I do like them mut not as much

  • @MFRMPt agree. not so much here either.

  • @Kubie5789 sometimes in life you just have to laugh at the bullshit

  • this song makes me so happy, i am so grateful of the smashing pumpkins, their music will play a part in my life.

  • That's a wonderful song,thanks so much @MFRMP

  • Yeah it's definitely low, maybe to trick Team Deletes?

  • gotta listen to this while cruising in the hummer! then stop at every gas station cause i'm in a fucking unneccessary hummer!

  • Simply one of the best rock albums ever by one of the best rock bands ever !! Timeless !!

  • just one of the greatest albums of all time. its ear candy for your brain. its sweet and bitter- and ever so nice ha ha

  • wow this is amazing

  • I haven't listened to the live version in a while, so forgive me if this is dumb - but has the pitch been changed on this video?

  • @gun4hire

    err album version

  • @gun4hire I think it has - it sounds a little low to me.

  • man! thnk you! i couldnt find the regular song anywere!! the all had live vids -.- i lost my harddrive with my songs so i have to look at youtube now X)

  • thank you MFRMPT

  • @Doesntliketoargue No problem. :)

  • @MFRMPt I know you're gonna say I'm crazy, but Mellon Collie, Adore, American Gothic are my favorites. You may want to listen to Adore it's surprisingly brilliant. Hell you may even want to relisten to Zwan : Marry Star Of The Sea (assuming you have listened to Zwan : Marry Star Of The Sea).

  • AWW.. Thanks for posting.. Just like the first comment, this brings me back to my teenage years!! effin awesome!!

  • At 4.30 this song becomes almost unbearably good. Made me damn well fall off my chair! Just amazing.

PS Thanks for the HD version, sounds just wonderful doesn't it?

  • @sosijiz1971 Yes, trance-like.

  • @sosijiz1971 James is a poet with a guitar.

  • Siamese Dream was the catalystic super soundtrack for my senior year in High School and all the wonderful adventures I had my first year at college with psycadellic experimentations...Space rock at it's finest...

  • this album was the soundtrack for my childhood growing up in the 90s! nothing but good feelings and memories when i listen to this! thank you so much for uploading it! i hope those EMI bastards don't take this down like all the other smashing pumpkins songs on you tube! i would like to listen to jupiter's lament but apparently some corporate asshole doesn't think i should lol

  • @pennyroyaltea89 Agree. The internet is essential for free advertising, and Youtube is one of the biggest free advertisements out there for bands. Corgan and co are shooting themselves in the foot removing this from Youtube, which has essentially replaced television.

  • Ty for posting stereo version. Been looking for a while now.
