  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX You probably used spray paint like an idiot. The proper way is to airbrush it then apply a gloss coat over so it doesn't peel or get sticky with sweat.

  • that looks like my 5year old little sister did it

  • sweden?

  • can you tell me the steps of how you did it?

  • is it sticky?

  • looks awesome, are you the one who painted it?

  • haha orange peel

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX maybe put som anamel

  • looks like it was hand painted and not spray painted

  • how can i paint a wii remote

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX did you sand it down or use adhesion promoter? i think thats it.

or you probably used too much paint

  • looks sticky

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX use a clear coat

  • @TheMarioo0

    yup!

  • ehh..

  • would it doing anything if I just used colored sharpies on my controler or would I need something else to help it dry or not smear

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX im guessing you didnt use an enamel clear coat after you finished.

  • u need a clear glaze covering so its no sticky or paint does not chip off

  • this looks a bit challenging seeing as i always screw things up, but looks really cool and fun!

  • PERFECT for playing pokemon games.

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX all you have to do it get a clear coat

    it protects it

  • thanks

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX actually you didnt put the enamel on right and make sure you have enamel paint

  • Did you take out the d-pad to paint it? and What did you paint the joysticks with?

  • .youtube.com/watch?v=yEqc5M_BDrI ...

  • That was one fuckin ghetto controller.

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX umm did you let the layers dry long enough? if you didnt that will make it sticky

  • so do you paint it or color it then put the clear coat on...or put the clear coat then paint?

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX My guess is that you didn't clear coat it

  • Okay how the hell do you paint the trigers? Cuz I can't get them off the green chip thing and if you tried to spray paint them it would get on the chip! Did you get them off somehow or what?

  • @dirtbikerider68 they just pull off...if anything use masking tape and newspaper and carefully tape around them

  • thats cool and all but the lines came out a little crooked

  • looks pretty nice.

  • sexy lol :P

  • Did you paint the thumb sticks with anything special, or just the same way you painted the actual controller?

  • @DRUMxTOxTHExMAX

i dont know, maybe it didnt dry right or something

  • coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • how do you customize a balck xbox controller?

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew

    i have no idea

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew all you have to do is do a few more coats like 3 to 4 it will still turn out good

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew first spray it white then do wat u want

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew white spray paint?

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew you could paint it white leave it to try then customize it

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew paint it white

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew

id just put a couple of layers of white or silver

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew spray it white with 2 coats then clear coat it wait a day then if u want sharpie it and clear coat again

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew

do one coat of white primer

3 coats of white spray paint

then time to paint and sharpie :)

  • @NinjaTjerkcrew spray paint it flat white, let it dry, and then do whatever you want to it after, you might need to sand it a tiny bit before and after you spray the flat white on it

  • yo everyone check out my channel i Have two controllers on video, red tiger and black they are pretty sick.

  • good choice in colors I like that blue

  • like the retro look, looks like something on the old tv show ART Attack lol :)

  • @CrashTestSkater I thing a beavis and butthead controller would look cool

  • ugly

  • I realy like the shiny texture, roughly how many coats of clear coat did you apply?

  • @stupidpasswordaz

around 3-5 light layers with plenty of time in between on a warm day

  • liking the controller:) but if anyone wants to learn how to custom their OWN controller at home... CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL:)

  • good i saw tutorials with same paint. im, glad to know some one who doesn't do it for a living can make their own. Have the thumb-sticks started to wear off? or do yuo not use it much

  • @paperclipman5

i will be honest, i don't use the controller evry day but at least once a week, the thumb sticks haven't worn off at all

  • @TravisLikesCoolStuff

great. i asked for all this stuff for Christmas. found a really cheap new wired controller to. i might paint the thumbsitcks. and i can only play on weekends, so it might not wear off

  • sweet! good luck!

  • it reminds me of pokemon

  • Wow! amazing controller, did you use the same sort of paint as the rest of the controller for the analog sticks and can you clear coat them?

  • i did use the same paint for the analog sticks, yes i did clear coat them

  • How did u do the triggers

Or did u just cover the buttons cu the triggers are attached the the electric board

  • i took apart the controller to paint it, to paint the triggers i covered the circuit board with tape

  • for sale? would you consider selling them?

  • yes, i would sell the controller but not the faceplate, i actually just used the controller today and it is still perfect!

  • lol nice

  • hey how did you get that glazed smooth texture on the controller?

  • many layers of clear coat enamel

  • how mutch for one?

  • did you read the description?

  • how did you paint the analoge sticks, start and select buttons, and the xbox button in the middle?

  • i took the controller apart to paint it so obviously it was as simple as taking the buttons out and painting them

  • im going do mine west ham coulars

  • sweet!

  • coulars?

  • who cares? one misspelled word?

  • do u have 2 sand da controller down?

  • what paint do u use and do you know if white spirt would take paint off thecontroller because i made a mistake lol :)

  • i have never heard of white spirt so i cant answer that question, you other question can be answered by reading the description

  • fuck xbox its all bout game cube

  • haha, thats funny, gamecube was cool and all, but it had very few really good games, and the discs were small so the game developers were limited to the amount of data they could use

  • LMFAO

  • @mercado215 Game Cube? What is this you speak of?!?!?!

  • yeah that would be a really funny joke if i didnt have one...but i do -.- Dont believe me? look up Bens Jammin08 on Xbox live, im a colonel in Halo 3 as well thankyou very much....basically you failed.

  • look like thunder like kind of cartoon thunder thejlogg dose nice ones you should look at his to get some ideas but any ways nice job

  • how did you make controller shiner?

  • clear coat enamel

  • Finally!!! I found the answer about the clear coat! YES!

  • no problem, lol

  • spraying the analogues bad idea no grip if your gonna play games they was rubber for a reason

  • have you even tried a controller with painted sticks? mine works fine, your theory would be true if the sticks were REALLY hard to move but they are not, they are made EASY for a reason!

  • fair enough I'm just going by what other people say in all the other mod videos but by rights you have one and i don't

  • it was a legitimate concern but mine doesn't seem to be a problem, maybe others have had problems with their experiences

  • how did u make such a nice custom design like that...i wanna paint mine but wouldnt it be hard to do images like that..i was gonna paint mine with just 1base color but i really wanna do that =p

  • it wasn't too hard, you just have too realize that it will take time to get the results your looking for

  • Epic win.

  • Selling 50 in MLG...Over 20 pros on the list.

718 exp in MLG playlist. Cost is 150$- absolutely legit

    account. Paypal only!

  • no one cares...go home.

  • why do i suck?

  • I like it but not the analogs

  • Is the controller for sale??

  • Thats pretty cool. did u just sharpie and clear coat it? also how did u paint the analog sticks?

  • the first question can be answered by reading the description and the analog sticks were easy, just sand lightly with 220 grit sand paper and paint like normal

  • u cant read can you? "more info" is there for a reason

  • thank you! finally an educated person, lol

  • awesome stuff

  • Dat shit iz kold as fukk yo.!!!Fukk wat errbody else sayz...

  • haha, thanks!

  • dont like the green analog.

  • picachue!! er however u spell it

  • why green analog sticks? looks terrible but rest of controller is alright

  • amazing...did u tape the x on the dasboard button when you painted it,or paint your own x in?

  • i put some tape over the x before using the spray paint

  • Kool...great job man.

  • Pretty good job. Not my fav color tho

  • good controller check mine

  • you should've sanded it for a less glossy feel and look, also nice job though, but its a little feminine... unless your a girl :P

  • i have a question :)

    did you sand it first?

  • no, i did not

  • u missed the big red "s" on the batt pack :p

  • nice color and stuff, but it looks wrong for some reason..

  • UGLY

  • Sharpie paint markers?

  • cleanly done... the design just doesn't do it for me though.

  • these are prettyyy sweet check out some of mine im selling them

  • that one little white sync button is driving me crazy...

  • errr cant say i like the design but ur painting is good

  • how are the joy sticks holding up have they worn off?

  • surprisingly, they are still fully intact!

  • That's amazing! As for the design... How did you manage to spray paint that on there?

I've always wanted to know that.

I'm thinking about doing the same to mine.

  • Nice work, did you put any LEDs in it? or are you planning to? really great work!

  • nope, no LED lights in this one, i dont think i will ever put them in a controller because it is too much work

  • it would be better with out the green

  • i spray painted my controller also but didnt put enamel on it. does that make the controller less sticky from the paint?

  • what the enamel does is it provides a coat of protection for the paint. without it the paint will likely wear quickly

  • ya but then i put those black lines over the edges

  • i painted the enitir controller yeloow, then i put tape over the places i wanted yellow to be at the end, and i painted the rest blue!

  • yup, still to this day (June 11th 2009) i have not had to put anymore on it! i made this back in August 2008!!! it still works great!

  • can you do that for me?

  • nope, sorry, i dont have the time

  • if you live in the uk i can send you a controller for a fee obviously i have 2 vids up of designs more on the way

  • yo the controller is fire you got sum fucking skills man how the fuck did you do that
