Finally if you're speaking of the Bermuda Triangle, that would be because of the intense amount of magnetism in the area that disrupts the different gadgets aboard the plane itself.

Dead Zones fuck up your gadgets on ships and radars and stuff causing them to bugger off somewhere and sink , however ships and planes have been FOUND there, thats not saying it is the actual triangle messing stuff up.
