you should try to find another female and repopulate them like take the eggs to the place where yu find the first one at and release them somwhere or raise the babies to be a little big but still fully aquatic and them put them in a pond so they can repopulate then youll see them all the time :)
not to be rude or anything, i think he should keep them because well you never know, the invasive pond spieces the snakehead, whould eat them, but this is a 5% chance of happening, but if their not there, other big fish will eat them.
