I think that the prey is ok with the lions because Mufasa made the point that when Lions die they become the earth and the grass and the antelope eat the grass. His name is really Taka, but it's unknown how he got the scar, but once he got it, he started to secretly hang out with the Hyhenas as to where Ahadi (Mufassa and Taka's father) didnt know. Soon he became evil and the hyhenas worked for him. Taka wanted to be king. But Ahadi was helping Mufassa be king. Scar then knew he would never be king.
