Your rationale for why this game sucks is pretty crummy. First off, it's ancient. Obviously, it'll be easy to die. Second, it's ancient, so obviously a save function was pretty rare for Sega games. I'm going to download a Sega Master System Emulator for my Droid, then download this game. Used to love it as a kid, it was so rewarding finally destroying the end boss and making it back to the surface, :-)

Zillion is the best game on the Sega Master System. Telling people to avoid it really blows my mind. It is a great game.

it did take that long because the book or manual was incorrect and not having a full game map made the game harder but still fun to play.

Heheeh! You're so right! This is a great game. I still play it and beat it in way under 2 hours. You have to play it alot! It is a very rewarding game!
