I think this song in particular is PRELUDE TO AND END. I'll send you my video with this amazing soundtrack...greetings. Oh, and the car sequence in PS3 is easy...we have checkpoints, bugs fixed, a more realistic movement of the car, better gameplay, and the woman also tells you where to turn. This game, in PS3, kick ass.
I think people no longer know how to judge this game some say it was too easy make less ammo or stronger enemys then others complin about burining the evil roots I thought that was the coolist part
@Hunkisthecoolest: Yes...and people are kinda confused cause the so many versions this game have. Its different from PS2, different in XBOX360, Wii and PC and...best version ever, the Inferno in PS3. In PS3, I didn't really have any problem at all. Cool cinematic sequences with some tension (like that helicopter falling, the building colapsing...), Central Park exploration is cool, I highly recommend. Does have its problems...but still good.
@Lyvarious: Yes, but they differ a lot in terms of gameplay. In PC it sucks, and even with the 360 controller plugged in, the tutorials ain't made for it. The 360 Alone game is the one that comes closer to the excellent Alone Inferno. So sad producers realized they fucked things up into others consoles before PS3 release and, luckily for PS3 owners, they decided to fix lots of things and add some extras. The true Alone in the Dark experience is in PS3. And of course, never forget 1992 Alone game
@TheGamerClubber The gameplay is almost exactly the same >_> as in the PC version is almost an entire port of the XBOX version. With exception to analogue sensitivity when using a controller on the pc version theres no difference to pc to xbox if you are using a controller. Though i admit if you are using a keyboard be prepared to rage

ALONE INFERNO GAME is a great experience...go get it...at least rent it.
As I said before, people passed up Alone and Homecoming due to the fact that they weren't too "Hip" or mainsteam gore fest as Dead Space and all the others were. I still wish Atari went a little deeper with the atmosphere and story. Though we all know Phil Harris told them that they had to release it by July or no more funds :/

Then came those trailers you might have seen. In here, many cutscenes were cut, its a diferent Edward's physiognomy, the museum is diferent, also enemies... Its like Resident Evil 2 and 4 production. When they were more than 50% of the game already done, RE2 changed a lot, and RE4 became Devil May Cry4

Well if RE 5 dissapointed you then you'll probably love Dead Space, even though i wasn't particulary crazy about it, if you're looking for a game that plays like RE 5 but has that so called "Atmosphere " that you love then you'll enjoy it.
Personally i think i'm over feeling the atmosphere, i felt it 5 years ago but now it's just a bunch of light effects and poorly executed and useless jump scares.
i'm sorry that's all i see in an "atmosphere" of a survival horror game these days.

So sorry to disappoint you (69moondog69), but actually this is the last ALONE IN THE DARK, released 2008/2009. Fact is, this trailer is old. When the ideas to the game were coming out, while the game itself wasn't already done. Its just a trailer to anounce the game, to show at GAME CONFERENCES, you know? Its funny cause there's so many different things: graphics (sometimes better, sometimes worst), Edward face, cutscenes.Just like RESIDENT EVIL 4, diferent compared to early stage production.
I was really dissapointed with the Wii and Ps2 version.
Good thing the 360 version was much better, I've never had bugs on the 360 version of Alone and I loved the controlls for the 360 version, I luv games where you have to hold down a button to run, it makes it feel more realistic.
But yeah, the ps3 version is the same just with quite a few improvements =D
Well, I do agree with you "Zerorebels": I kinda think more cool a game that you can control the walk and running in the analog. Wanna walk? Press forward gently...wanna run like maniac? Put the analog all the way forward. Its kinda more pratical (also more realistic) then always a button pressed to run...anyway, like Deviusx said, its all about opinion.
How come Edward Carnby didn't look like that!?
I would totally have liked this game more if he did instead of him looking like he's in his early 70s.

You don't move yourself by pressing a button, no you move with the analog ofcourse.
What I said was: "I luv games where you have to hold down a button to run, it makes it feel more realistic."
In the 360 version you walk by using the analog and you run when holding A.
But hey, it's all based on opinions =P
