Is this possible with anything purchaseable in stores.. I was really looking for the Phatty but this make me want to expand the setup already before it's bought! This is awesome and just what I'm looking for!
I'm having a really hard time getting my new LP Stage II set up to be sequenced by my MC-505 drum machine.. I've never done anything like this before and I need help! What parameters need to be set in what mode for each of the units (in general, I realize you probably don't own/have access to a 505 off-hand) to get the drum machine to make the LP sing? I know how to sequence a phrase on the 505 but I can't get it to make the LP do it. Thanks for any advice you can offer!!
But how a drum pattern can make something nice on a melody keyboard.. wouldn't it be better if you tried to midi it from a sequencer like a regular keyboard or a software? I'm receiving my lp.. next week and really need some tips also.
mc-505 is hardwired so the the drum track is channel 10, track 1 is midi channel 1, and so on. You will need to set your little phatty to recieve on whichever part you want it to play and then turn down that channel on the 505... or don't so you can have layers!
The microkorg was a great starter synth for me, and I think alot of people would attest to this!
My suggestion: Try and find a microkorg used for around 300! They keep their value and once you've got the difference saved up for the Little Phatty, ditch the microkorg and move on to the real deal!
i've been trying to play about with this, but it only plays the drum machine when i hold a key down on the moog. any ideas?

@weloveneon That's what I did XD.
I'm new to Synthesizers but when I saw that instrument I went MAD and I bought it.
I really love what I can do with it. Buying a LP stage II is a must for everyone who wants to do some experiments with their music. That's what I do.
I made a simple piece. Feel free to watch it, it's in my profile.

i wanna start to play the synthezisers
i have money to buy the korg r3 or the microkorg but i want the little phaty what do u recomend to me?
- buy the microkorg, because a little phaty is not for a beginner.
- buy the korg R3, because is better than the microkorg and the little phaty is not for a beginner.
- save money to buy the little phaty, u wont be regret of this synth.
if a have to save money it take me 1 year to have the cash (to buy the little phatty u know)

Buy the little phatty and not only will you have a way better sound, but you'll learn a lot more about synthesis in the process.
