There hasnt been a new sound in music since the late 90's. Fuck me, at least in the 80's we had old school electro and breakin, during the nineties we had raving - since 2000 we havent had shit.

@paulymac90 I remember reading an interview with Altern8 around the time of this track and they said they popped a cheeky half before making music so could hear the tune as others would when it was played.

@Mr1974gjb scene not sean. Sean is a name. This was 1992, they had been going for about 4 years at this point, with Nexus 21, so ALtern8 were really there from the beginning, it just took so much money to get noticed that by the time they made it people thought they were baand wagon jumpers. Infact they were true pioneers over here. Their better stuff were all the remixes on the singles. Love that much more than this stuff. Check out my message to you.

@corelgott Hey, EVERYONE sampled it back in the day - if you were an aspiring act and wanted to put a killer track together and get it played some, you sampled Derrick! :) And A8 ruled like no others; some thought they were cynical piss-takers, others thought they were sell-outs, band-wagoneers or even cheap imitators but they were NONE of these things...they were just ploughing their own amazing furrow. And I miss those days like I miss the sun in Winter.
