there's this commercial that describes a drugs' side effects being a number of things AND unusual dreams. when i first heard this i was like "how and when are dreams not unusual??? how is one to know when their dreams are being odder than usual??? BRAHHHHHHH
I also dream about alternate Disneyland. I've said before I'd love to visit Disneyland with you, and maybe we could visit alternate Disneyland together, too. hee hee The first time I went to WDW, the Magic Kingdom freaked me out because it is an alternate Disneyland; some things are just not in the right place!
I have a number of dream 'sets'. If I dream of a mall, it is always the same mall. If I dream about a school, it is always the same school. I recently added an art gallery to the mix.
I dream about Disneyland too but for some reason it always starts at school and I'll leave class and suddenly be in Disneyland with my teachers and all my classmates. I don't understand my subconscious, haha.
Anyway I'm excited to see your videos about the Disney college program because I'm really interested in it as well :)
This happens to me tooo! But not just with Disney, with like my neighborhood and my house and just places that I normally go to. They look similar but different and I recognize the place as my house or whatever but there's always something off. Weird or not weird? Also, I'm glad I found someone as excited about Disney stuff on the internet as I am, so thank you for existing, Sarah. Have SO MUCH FUN in Anaheim! :)
Have you ever read Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom? I don't know if that's a "duh" question or not. But it's about Disney world in the future. Cory Doctorow is also a Disney nerd.
I don't usually dream about Disney, but my little sister does.. lucky xP
It's so amazing that you're moving into Disney already! Do you know who your roommates are yet? I hope you get amazing roommates! Have fun and good luck!
...get funneled into the flume of the ride. From there it's pretty much the same, but darker. I always wake up just before the big drop, though, so I don't know what that's like yet. On the other side of HM, there's a Nightmare Before Christmas ride, as well. It's pretty awesome.
There was a thread about this on MiceChat a few weeks ago, if I remember correctly. If I can find it, I'll link you to it.
I dream of an alternate Disneyland, too! Spash Mountain is probably my favorite. It's still next to the Haunted Mansion, but you actually can't see the mountain. You go in through this little cave-like opening into the ground. You're separated from other groups you're with, and each member of your group has to race to get to the ride. It starts out in logs, but you have to pull yourselves up a rope on a dry hill. No idea where that came from. After zooming down a huge hill, you just somehow...
Whenever I dream about Disneyland, it's always like... half zoo, half Disneyland. Can't wait to start the college program!!! But it's definitely a bittersweet feeling.
I did have a dream about Disneyland about 3 weeks ago. I just got back from visiting Disneyland Paris, and during my stay there Deathly Hallows was released. Therefore I had a dream that I had to fight Voldemort in Disneyland Paris. Kind of awesome and kind of weird. Also, in my dream I realised I had to fight him because he put me in a different hotelroom than the rest of my family. Because that's what dark lords do obviously.
I'm so excited for you! My best friend did the program in orlando and she loved it, just worked like 50 hours a week which I can imagine would be the downside If you were to get stuck with a not so great job,
Dreams are so interesting/weird. My first thought when you said you thought it was real was "Of course it's happening inside your head but why... should that mean it' s not real." which is super corny, but it basically answers how I feel about these things.
I dream of an alternate Disneyland, too! It's not really anything like Disneyland, but while I'm there, I know it's supposed to be Disneyland. It's different everytime, though. Then I wake up sad because I'm not at Disneyland.
That's awesome! I almost never remember my dreams. I love your explanation of why you make your videos. That's awesome. I always want to put more about my love for TMNT and Mario in mine, but there's only so much to touch on those two subjects! Anywho, love the VALA vids. It's always good to see people just being themselves.
I dream about another version of Disneyland too! Mine's always reminiscient of like a little European town, with lots of stonework and oldey-worldy places to eat. There's also lots of water that the park is sort of built around; it's weird, but nice. (Tomizzle... hehe.)
I think that I've only dreamt about Disney world once or twice..but they were never dark or anything. They were just me riding my favorite ride over and over again which is Space Mountain in Disney world. I have never been to Disney land but always wanted to go. I did a presentation about Disney land for my college history class (got an A) and really enjoyed learning all about the history of this place that I love! Thank you for posting these videos about how much you love Disney! :)
I actually dream of alternate Disneyland as well! Except I always go on the same ride, Splash Mountain. Though in my dream the logs are on tracks and it is a terrifying ride. It goes full under water and in dark tunnels and is really long. Weird, what is Splash Mountain like in your dreams? Maybe we're dreaming of the same alternate Disneyland...eerie.
@TheCreatingCat Not quite the same. Mine was without logs at all. People just float along the track like it's a water park. Pretty scary when you get to the drop...
Usually when I am in bouts of WDW withdrawl (like currently, I got back from Disney like two weeks ago and Ialready miss it), I tend to dream about Disney. A lot of my Disney dreams are really actually kind of scary? I once had a dream where Malificent took over a parade, made a dragon come to life, and destroy part of Hollywood Bvld in Hollywood Studios. Odd. But it's good to know I'm not alone on the dreaming of Disney front!
Omg! I dream of Disneyland too!! :D
