Two of my favorite drummers are lefty, Tom Hunting and Gene Hoglan. But Hoglan plays open handed on a righty kit. They are Metal drummers, but they are extremely good at what they do.

I was gonna say yeah, I took out the audio of my kit, because it sounds crappy mixed in with the music. In the future, with more investments in gear, I will do that more often. I DO on the other hand have a video up with audio, because some people have made comments about that. Go to my videos if you want, and look at Bullet For My Valentine "Waking The Demon" Drum Cover 2, it has the kit audio in the video. And no, besides a cover band I'm with currently, I'm not in any serious bands.

Well I think he's under the impression that a drum cover is to play the drums EXACTLY how it is in the song, which isn't what a drum cover is. A drum cover is however the drummer wants the drums of a particular song to be. There's only one Chad Sexton, but whether or not your play the rhythms EXACTLY like him doesn't make you any less of a drummer. Personally, I think the fact you're a lefty is freakin' sweet, let alone your skills on the drums. Very well done I say.
