I was 7 years old when I saw this movie and the shower scene scared me to death. My mom had to sit in the bathroom for the next 3 months while I took a shower.
I was 8 years old when i saw this movie. My brother and I were not getting along very well and i had just moved int a new bedroom in our finished basement. I snuck out of my bed and watched from my bedroom door. It had a great view of the T.V. I wet the bed that night and couldn't sleep for a few days.
@StanleyKu You bet! I lived a couple of miles from there in Rancho Santa Fe,Ca. When I was 8 years old, they were filming this movie in town. I met Lisa Elibacher and got her autograph when they were shooting the scene with the creepy old lady in front of the library. We never knew the name of the movie until it aired a year or so later and then after that we referred to that house as the "This House Possessed" house.
@sparkles13 Oh thats awesome! It came out in early 81 so I assume they did most of the filming in 1980? I was also 8 years old back then and saw it when it first aired. The house always fascinated me but it was an intimidating movie at that age! That breathing rock wall really creeped me out! That's cool that you met Lisa Eilbacher. I wonder who owns that house. I would pay to take a tour through it. :)
Plot featured love triangle with Parker Stevenson as ailing singer of bad pop tunes, Lisa Eilbacher as his good-girl private nurse, and Shelley Smith as his bad-girl model squeeze.
And as I recall, in the late 70s/early 80s Cali jet-set lingo of Stevenson's and Smith's characters, what Shelley is doing is here is called "taking a steam."
That blood shower scene has stayed in my memory ever since I was 5(?) years old...Now i'm 34.lol

@StanleyKu I think the owner's name at the time it was filmed was Psalms, but it might have changed owners since then.

Thanks for posting this. Shelly Smith was one of the most gorgeous women around during the late 1970s - early 1980s.
