if you want to automate volume just right click on the volume knob and click on "create automation clip" and for the intro of a song, in 2008, start with almost full percussions and bassline, and build from there !
@DjSalkizar I know I'm going to feel stupid for replying to a 3 year old comment, but the kick is the second biggest part of a dance song, and if it is just slightly off, then the entire thing can come crashing down.
The kick drum in this is fine, maybe just needs some sidechaining and a little more compression. Layering it with another kick wouldn't be a bad idea either.
search for ste 1438 on youtube, go to the guy's profile and then to hit site...there you can find soundfonts...just download and find a tutorial explaining how to install them
Not too bad. Your notes in each second bar of your patterns don't seem to work well with the bass. It's not TOO noticable until the pitch change. This really brings out what sounds just plain incorrect. Changing the master pitch didn't sound all that great either.
Other than that, the song has very nice arpeggios and an overall soothing sound to it. So yeah, pretty good!
i can make songs with 100 patterns, ten times more complicated and have a full track within 24 hours. but ive been producing and using fl for 6+ years and produce professionally. so only advice is just keep working hard your on the right track

It's just that whenever I make a song, it comes out sounding like it's missing a sound or instrument to make the song come alive or just sounds really crappy. You believe looking at tutorials will help me make better music?
if you handle fruity loops well enough just listen to alot of music and analyse it...seperate every sound in your head, find regularities between the songs, what you like about them and try and make your own using that model. Try copying(not the actual notes though..) a little bit from other well know artists and from there build your style. I hope you get what i'm trying to say! That's what i do...

oof quite good up until the pitch changes where im afraid that ruins it matey, and the bass is too high near the end
