damn man, I had almost as many or maybe more planets than you...

for some reason on my game every grox planet with more than 2 colonies was capturable and the grox would say "surrender... does not compute" and then they would give me the colonies.

Through that gltich or whatever I had about 300 colonies in the core and a pocket of about 20 or so colonies in my home system. The outer colonies had buildings but the inners were just for show.

my file save got corrupted though....

This is a mod. You can tell by the fact that most of your colonies have a homeworld symbol above them.

That's actually about the same size as mine. Mine covers an entire arm of the galaxy just not as tightly as yours does so even though yours covers about 1/5 of an arm it still probably has the same amount of planets. Nice.

here is a tip if two of your allied races are fighting each other and they beg for you to help all you have to do..is go one of the worlds and let them fight it out, if the world isnt captured they will thank you and you will get a point to your bodygaurd badge, if it is captured nothing bad will happen.

@TheRatonacat I know, give your planets uber turrets and never worry about the grox again. I also have a giant corridor of colonies and allies that connect to my empire at the center, which is where I stay most of the time now. I never again have to worry about the grox, I casually ask my allies to attack them whenever I happen to pass by.

If you've had the game awhile its pretty easy. I have over 400 systems because I only use one file, and I've had the game for over a year. As a matter of fact I only played until a few months after it came out, and now I just recently started up again destroying the grox (easy, just gotta be smart about it). And I don't play every day either, nor for very long. Idk why more people don't have empires of this size.

@gabrielcenteio I always upgrade my colonies when I play, i have over 100 colonies. What I like to do is use the monolith on fully terraformed planets. Then when they evolve to space stage, I take over their cities. Instead of a colony that would produce 30 spice when fully upgraded i take the cities over that produce up to on average 60 to 70 spice depending on how many cities are captured.

Idon,t realy care about colonizing i get colonis by taking over other planets so i don,t need to do it my self I think the best way is to just wipe out every race not taking over every planet it could spare you half a year and it makes it even more possible the galaxy will be yours anyway.BUT IF YOU WANT TOTAL DOMINATION GO FOR IT I,L TRY IT TOO:).

what i do is travel through every black hole i see, dot a little colony, travel through another black hole, leaave it, remember it and travel back, and expand around it. a lot. i did that so much, i figured out after subtracting my systems from all the in-game systems, not only was my empire larger than the grox`s, but it was larger than all the systems in roughly one and a quarter galactic arms.

....i need to rethink my life.
