I don't know why Georgiana tells Grey she can't abandon her children. Of course she could! Why not? She only had those children because she was forced to give the Duke a son. Why shouldn't she leave them for a better life? She deserved to be happy, not a slave and that's what she was. Why did she stay with her children? She was never happy with them and she was only happy w/Grey. If she wasn't happy, she should go with Grey and have her freedom. She had no reason to stay married to the Duke.
