@fatihselima But there's a problem in that for some people...If you have the "Wax Key" ability you always have a duplicate of the lock your picking.

@shakurlover2 you can get loads of lockpicks (about 30 every 48 game hours) from the travelling khajit caravan found outside cities or from the fence in the guild! Good luck I'm on my third playthrough :D

It would be funny if you got to level 100 using this method and got locked in and had to load back

@Min3vidz You have to complete the mission The Pursuit which is the last one for thieves guild, the way you obtain it is by simply killing mercer fray

@motherofgod4 No you still have to return it somewhere, but it's best to hold that quest untill you lvled lockpicking to max. Personally I don't care for the skeleton key, I'm at 70 or so lockpicking atm, I never held on to the skeleton key, and I have still got 90+ lockpicks in my backpack. The thing is, lockpick fails also level the skill, whereas the skeleton key never fails so less exp.

The only problem with the Skeleton Key is that it's an unbreakable lockpick. Which is good, don't get me wrong. But a majority of your experience will come from breaking fifty lockpicks on a Master lock versus opening it on the first try.
