  • This movie is truly awful.

  • And this is why some children, like Angelica Pickles, should never be allowed to grow up.

  • This is one of the best thriller classics for children during the 80's-90's!!!

Looking back at this trailer today makes me wonder how the hell did this ever make me scared?

  • if you think about it stayin' with kids alone is kinda scary

  • This movie is the chizz. We found an old vhs of it one day and i've loved it ever since.

  • I'm 17, I saw this movie on TCM the other day. I must say that I enjoyed this film better than I did any other horror movie in the year 2000. The classics really are better

  • @Krazzii101 Actually I was flipping through the channels the other night and stopped on this movie. I had no idea what it was. I came in at the part where the young girl's mom was in the shower and then the young girl shot her older sister in the eye with an arrow from the closet. This was a crazy movie, I do want to watch the whole thing now. LOL

  • Whatever happened to Elizabeth Hoy (Debbie). She would have made a great actress but didn't do much more after Bloody Birthday.

  • A fun, very underrated cult gem.

  • @TheAltair4

I always liked this since i was 13 and Julie Brown is in it

  • @Johnlindsey289 And you got to see her awesome tits in it too.

  • @TheAltair4 Underrated indeed, why does nobody remember this one? It's very good.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 It is a very good movie and i don't know why it's not better known, tbh. There are a lot of really great horror films from the 70's and early 80's that most people today either just don't remember or have never seen or even heard about. Just Before Dawn, Tourist Trap, The Legacy, The Sentinel, The Funhouse, One Dark Night, Nightmares, Deadly Blessing and Swamp Thing are just a few other examples of some really good ones that no one talks about or really remembers much these days.

  • @TheAltair4 Oh man, The Sentinel, I haven't seen it yet but I got the DVD, if they hadn't had Corey Feldman mention it in The Burbs, I would never have known about it.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 lol. Almost everyone i know who's seen The Sentinel learned about it from The Burbs. I had already seen it on video myself long before The Burbs came out, something that has always made me feel kind of proud. Check it out because it's awesome.

  • @TheAltair4 LOL that is so funny because it seems nobody even KNOWS about the Burbs anymore. It's very rare to find somebody who's seen it.

  • @TheBookWorm1718 That's odd and kind of sad because it's not too terrible old a movie really. It came out in 1989, i believe. It seems that people like us truly are a dying breed these days. lol

  • This is on TCM again right now. I'm gonna watch this with the lights off =)

  • I remember this movie..

  • I love this movie! All of the kids in this movie were really great, especially K.C. Martel and Elizabeth Hoy. They were both great at acting and made the movie fun to watch.

  • Thumbs up if Smosh brought you here.

  • BEST THING ABOUT THIS IS THE DATE JUNE 9 1970...... THATS THE DAY I WAS BORN! LOL

  • I caught this on TCM late at night and I loved it! Those kids are spooky. I couldn't see this movie being made today with all the recent gun violence.

  • I run Lori Lethin's official fan page on Facebook and I have to say that I love this trailer. I posted a link to it on her page. Hope that's cool. Thanks!

  • I've seen parts of this movie before, but I finally caught it in its entirety on TCM late Friday night. It's so ridiculously bad (or incredibly awful) that it's actually pretty good (as in funny). Can't be taken at all seriously, of course, since it lacks, among other things, credibility, plausibility and/or logic of any kind. Makes most movies within its genre look like out and out masterpieces. Apparently made by 7th graders (okay, 5th graders) as perhaps some kind of school project.

  • I saw this movie this is why I don't trust no one even 10 year old kids!!!! I would ware a vest and carry two auto hand guns with me just in case some fucking crazy kids try to fuck with me I would shoot there heads off all three in 2 seconds! Fuck those syco kids I'm going to find those bitch ass actors and see if they want to fight I will fuck them up lol !!

  • they're actually going to show this on TCM Underground on Jan. 21...never thought they'd EVER show this film...

  • @theesch I have my dvr set to record it. I never heard of it and look forward to watching it. TCM Underground has aired previous cool 70's-80's horror/sci-fi movies all uncut over the past year that I've watched such as "The House Where Evil Dwells" and "Galaxy of Terror" that come to mind.

  • @view247flix Totally agree! I never heard of it either! Lots of familiar faces in it too. Michael Dudikoff, Julie Brown, etc. Seemed like an attempt at making a film like the first "Halloween". Only if Michael Myers was a girl, never got caught and had a few friends helping. LOL A fun movie! Hard to believe I never saw it till now or even heard of it before. I wan't to know where it was filmed! It reminded me of where I grew up. I think I and those kids are the same age at that time. :~}

  • @view247flix: Last night I caught this movie somewhere in the middle and I was instantly hooked! I never knew TCM played stuff like that anymore. Especially uncut! I'll definitely have to get this on DVD. Btw, did you happen to catch "The Bad Seed?" It came on right after it.

  • @YungReg88 I missed "The Bad Seed". How was it, good,ok or awful. I timed my dvr only to record "Bloody Birthday" which was really good. Late 2009 is when I found out that TCM air horror,mystery/suspense and sci-fi movies nearly every Friday late night uncut and commercial free.

  • the should totally make a remake!

  • This is a hidden classic. I bought mine years ago.
