  • Very well understood! Thanks alot!

  • Doesn't flexibility/ the molecular organization, amount, & hydration of the collagen & elastin in your fascia determine muscle elasticity? If your fascia is looser, doesn't that mean you cannot rely as much on your connective tissues as a springs?

  • When body weight transfers from leg to leg energy is briefly stored in the muscles connective tissues like an elastic band. This energy can be used to help "spring" to the next step(eg.kangaroo)however, this effect only occurs if the stretch-shorten cyle within the muscle fibre happens within a minimum time frame. This threshhold is the suggested 180ppm cadence and above.High turnover as shown is ineffective is because without the weight transfer the muscles elastic properties are not stimulated.

  • Good video, with an important distinction made between changing support by movement of the upper body over each foot as it contacts the ground, as opposed to keeping the body centred all the time, with an unbalanced distribution of weight. That would be hard to spot just by watching a running video. Thanks

  • i need more onformation pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

  • I think the explanation was very confusing. I would have liked to understand the concept better...

  • Does the description help the explanation? I often find that when I don't understand what is being said I read about it. Give it a try and let me know!

  • can you help me? I've read about pose method and it says to raise your heel directly under you. I don't understand how that would help, or even work actually.

  • Buy the book and you will understand. Even better buy the DVD.
