I saw you in concert with Cibo Matto earlier today, and was fascinated especially with this one. all the sounds were so big and just coming from one person. If I could do things like this, I wouldn't even need a band!!
@signumfas that has been said often about this piece and I understand why but for me it would ruin it because this for me is beautiful and about the deep aspects of trains...not horror. BUT that being said. I just did music for a book trailer that is horror of a type...and it uses this technique.
@sxipshirey Oh for sure. I can totally see what you were trying to do with this particular piece, I'm just saying the techniques you used, you could easily make a horror-soundtrack sounding series of songs and they'd be fantastic. A horror book trailer? I'll have to check it out!
I bet this is how they make all dem scary sounds in dem vid'ja games and movies.

@cephal0p0d nope..just using two guitar pedals. a digitech reverb and an old boss pitchshifter..both discontinued..and paper clips..and a harmonica.
