Even though I disagree with the "Thrash is meaningless" statement, that's actually an equally ignorant viewpoint towards the other genres. All music, no matter what genre has meaning. Pop is what sells, a lot of people like it otherwise it wouldn't be so popular and rap is more than just "money". True rap died with Tupac and Biggie who actually spoke about what really mattered, not just "bitches 'n' hoes". That's just my opinion anyway. Music should just be enjoyed altogether.
