  • The wings are supposed to flex. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to turn.......

  • the way the wing flexes..scary

  • @gho3stsoldier i was just thinking the same dude, that can't be good lol

  • anny of you boys see an aircraft carrier around here?

  • i wanna be a pilot so damn bad!!

  • Shit music

  • He didn't blink once during that landing lol

Cool video, woulda been awesome without the music...

  • -continuing from last comment- from is brain. Wow that must be stree

  • Imagine all the stress that is being put on this guys body. A. The cat shot. All that forward motion in such a sort time! Talk about a jolt! B. The landing. All that motion being quickly reduced. Plus, all the organs in your body being pushed toward the front of your body. C. All the G forces that he's experiencing with those turns. Where the blood is being sucked fo

  • Bloody hell look at rear wing vibrating... It wont fall off?

  • @Iskariotiel It's not a 'rear wing'... it's the wing. And no, it won't fall off.

  • @thewizardofrhythm

    Thanks mate i didnt know

  • @Iskariotiel It's called wingflex

  • bad... ass...

  • Love fighter pilots and go barrel roles

  • Show off!!!!!! Lol oh well if i had the oportunity too, Id do the same heehee

  • omg thats just so unreal

  • BATTLEFIELD 3

  • @doid1337 never again, sir

  • i liked the music choice. sick video. i like!

  • These people get paid to do this. I would gladly PAY to do this.

  • 1:54 OoOOOOooO

  • I watched without sound and the whole sequence looked soooo amazing!!!! I loved it!

  • And they get paid to do this...

  • why do you have to add stupid music, the sound of the flight tops

  • @amerl130 No audio was probably recorded :/

  • Oh...to fly like, must be absolute heaven!! I'd love too!! Yep, indeed I would!!!!!

  • Extraordinary stuff. Thank you very much for posting this.

  • all that pitch and roll would turn me pink and cause vertigo for me lol

  • What's the name of this song?

  • Very cool

  • why do you always have to put background music??!! goshh

  • wow

  • This is why I want makes me want to get commisioned although I like being enlisted I sure do want to fly a fighter plane.

  • @rayvnicolas24 why enlist when you can go to the academies and go in as an officer?

  • @TheDynoSoar cus i'm already enlisted and have been in for 7 years in the Marine Corps. I can go through the MECEP program which basically sends me to College to get my degree and OCS

  • @rayvnicolas24 ooooh. does virginia military institute offer the same curriculum as one of the academies?

  • best job

  • @ 1:24 his mask looked a little loose.

  • would have been better without the music.

  • Seems as if his seats belts are a little loose...

  • @beeroosterm and you know this because.....

  • @Anthony42ly Isn't it obvious or are you deliberately trying to be a douchebag? The belts are loose - he moves excessively, especially on landing.

  • @beeroosterm dude you got to be kidding me? The belts are designed for those very fast stops. If the belts holding the pilot in one position, the force is so high he might injure his ribs/longs/etc.

  • @decco0172 Well, he obviously likes them that way and can tolerate the forces, but they look excessively loose, and the more you move around, the more it's going to hurt after the slack is taken up. Come on - this isn't rocket science. And don't call me dude.

  • @beeroosterm It is only loose at the start, it is DESIGNED for that. Read what i say.

  • What does he have his right hand on during the cat shot?

  • @w5cdt Grab handle. Can't hold onto any controls during the cat shot

  • Awesome video. I'm sooooo jealous. Even though I can hover!

  • Man, bro that is really, really nice. You're just playin', having all the fun you can. I love the skimming the top of that broken layer, weaving in and around, then pulling up into the Immelmann. The clouds really add to the beauty and help with depth perception and scale, etc. The whole scene was like a natural playground in the sky.

  • what does the creatard ppsimmons have to do with the navy?

  • Aside from all the glamor, it's a very dangerous job and they do it for our country. They are the best of the best.

  • I never noticed how much the wings wobble...kind've scary lol

  • Does he want any more blood in his face at 1:50?

  • @cjellwood Its not blood. Its just the way it looks. You can't get more blood in your face with longitudual G forces. Only with negative G's

  • I love how calm this guy is. with his hand on the window just casually flying .Its like hes taking a sunday stroll in a honda.

  • what a job..lucky b*****d...

  • great vid, thanks.

  • At the beginning he's like: check... check, everything check.. okay... OHH FUCK!!!!

  • @iSlas ajajajajajaa jajaj engine,, on/ flaps..20/ attitude indicator...set/ oxigen...100% .......FUCK I JUST SHIT ON MY PANTS ajjajajajajajaja

  • Amazing to see how the wings bend during the fast moves.

  • @arnohoogwerf1980 you noticed that too. The Hornet is one unique Aircraft

  • Look at this guys eyes he is careful and haven a good time! Wow!

  • i fly these, yep, believe me. this is youtube

  • Holly crap, you see the wing tips flexing ?? ive seen it on commercial aircraft but not on fighter jets, i though they where more solid than that !!

  • @wolfe1970 They have to be flexible, if they're too rigid, they'd snap off.

  • is It just me or he seems to be smiling?

  • Amazing, just amazing.

  • Love the video. What is the song called?

  • wouldve been better without the music.

  • Truly the Kings of the Clouds... Fantastic...

  • The ease with which the pilot seems to do all the flying.. Like he's never done anything else in his life!

  • @michiel1403 Damn, He better know what he is doing. That plane costs more then most Americans will earn in their lifetime. These naval aviators are the worlds best trained video game players. They have the best dexterity and emotional control of any other pilots in the world, bar none. The first thing that I'm going to do when i get to heaven is ask St. Pete if i can fly one of those machines. Heaven!

  • F/A-18D or F?

  • Comment removed

  • @FutureMarine1775USA I think you mean F/A-18C or a super E! The aircraft in this video has one seat.

  • @smz62582 Thats what I ment, I just said D/F out of habit.

  • Young and broke, scared as hell but he loves the rush.

  • His eyes actually bug out on recovery!

  • do the music away

  • i can proudly say i scard the shit out of my pilot when i took control :D i said iv never flown before..... i know flying a similater such as il-2 or wings over vietnam four 11 years isnt the same.... thats why i had it... but he said i could do arcrobatics so ges what i did :D lol

  • this guy is amazing!

I bet he is a very good pilot, he looks calm and steady, he has done this thousands of times!!!

  • absolutely beautiful.

  • LOOKS LIKE HIS FACE WAS AS SCARY AS THE FLIGHT WAS

  • Who else scared with the pilot face when the plane was breaking after landing? i i'm one of these! wtf with that face! is just like when you're shitting and the shit is one of those mega-whales that you think that your head will make ''Boom!'' trying to expulse it!

  • Seeing the wings wiggle around like jello is freaky

  • Tell us time of Day, pls

  • lol does the jet have a cupholder?

  • Nice vid

  • thought i was gonna hurl there for a second...

  • I'm 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. I have a 5.0 GPA an I scored a 2390 on the SAT. I have 20-20 vision. What are my chances of being able to fly jets for the navy. Oh and I also play varsity football, don't know if that matters

  • @VxTaPOuTxV I envy you. Wish I would've had my mind set on being a pilot. I'm enlisted in the Navy and work on these magnificent birds. Your best shot would be to apply to the Naval Academy, you won't go wrong that route. Good luck!

  • I wonder how many pilots go nuts when their flying careers finish coz they can't do this any more. Seriously, nothing you ever do again would come close.

  • @prosperousindividual Are you the pilot on this video ? Nice greetings from Germany :)

  • Dear Navy, I will do this for free... really. Im 29 years old, 5'6" blind as shit, and havent been to college. What are my chances? Remember, I fly for free, just give me a bologna sandwich and water every once in a while. REALLY!!!

  • Now thats flying...

  • LOL his eyeballs almost went through the windshield @ 1:51

  • all i could think about at the begining was "wheres my snare at....?" lol

  • 9 people will never land an airplane on the carrier.

  • The best job in the world

  • Just rippin' through the clouds! Love it!

  • Oh how I'm filled with depressive levels of envy. I'm training to be a commercial pilot in the UK. But that doesn't even compare to flying a bird like this (which has been my dream) A shame that our RAF has had to make so many cuts and that we're devoid of a naval air fleet (not that it was plentiful to begin with). To top it off I probably don't even have the qualities required and wouldn't pass selection. Some lucky fuckers just win the DNA lottery I guess.

  • @jamzal DNA lottery XD

  • @jamzal well you think thats bad...I live in Canada and after highschool im going to become a military pilot..but thats no the sad thing...the sad thing is we dont have aircraft carriers anymore so i cant do this amazing art of landing on a ship :(

  • @BaconTV123 Yes you can! The US Navy invites "Intern pilots" from across the US services, and foreign countries including places like Germany, the UK, and Canada. I'm not dead sure what is required to partake in the program, but it's not farfetched by any means, I'm sure the Canadian Air Force realizes it's a valuable skill, just because they don't have carriers doesn't mean it's pilots shouldn't learn to land on them, we realize this as well and provide the opportunity.

  • @yggseleaf that just made my day .... :)

  • @jamzal What do you mean by "qualities required"?

  • i'm amazed at how much the wings flex when he rolls and pulls back

  • VFA-94 , The Mighty Shrikes out of NAS Lemoore, CA

  • the music rly fits well with the video

    AWESOME JOB!!!

  • please pw me the name of the song

  • what's the song's name? amazing....

  • what is the name of the song plz?? amazing video, hope to that one day...

  • Hey guys, please! What's the name of this song? Thanks =o)

  • you are one lucky fucker!

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!! I loved the view of the wings at work.

  • The only thing pilots will be flying in the future are joysticks, chair and some monitors. All with logo's stamped made in China on the bottom.

  • @WizzRacing better than sending pilots to die...

  • What a rush!!!!!!!!!!

  • Call the ball!!

  • I guess the roller coasters at Six Flags wouldn't do it for this guy.

  • shouldn't your plane have a roof?

  • to be honest i never liked the shape of the F-18. i'll go retro and stay with the F-14 tomcat. but this video is awesome, nice flying time. another day at work but with a rush for free

  • Put original audio in.

  • thankyou for serving and protecting keep ur eyes open and wings in the air all the best to you mate!

  • did he pass out and they edited it out

  • @Legendary588 ? OK, as a Navy Capt., I don't feel like arguing w/ you. You seem to love the F-18, & apparently wanna fly one & I wish you luck w /that. I've no clue when this was shot, but as an F-18 capt, I know every millimeter of Her; and the web site? look for pics of the '09 sail, 6th row down, pic farthest to the right(067). you can see me, with other squad members-im the shortest in the middle, wearing sunglasses. That was my 1st cruise. & Good Luck with the 172-seriously. build UR Hrs!

  • @smz62582 A Navy Capt or F-18 capt (sic)? Maybe a plane captain? Something doesn't smell right in your use of the vernacular. In the US we would know every inch, carriers have islands, and we have squadron mates. OBTW, we do still have FA-18As, upgraded to the A++ configuration, which is pretty much a "C".

  • @DragNetJoe - I Fly the F-18Charlie. Recently moved up from Lt. Commander to Capt. I never said that F/A-18Alpha airframes are no longer used; though my squad (VFA-146) uses lot XIV C's. And Ive found that my "vernacular" sometimes needs to be adjusted when talking to non-military folks to allow them to fully comprehend what i say. squad=squadron

  • @smz62582 Interesting. Promoted from LCDR to CAPT, completely skipping Commander. Very impressive, congratulations, although offset somewhat by being a squadron commander as an O-6, when it is normally an O-5 billet. Bye.

  • @smz62582 I wonder about airframe shaking gently on -looks kinda fast- climb at 1:17! Can you explain?

  • @winwon62 Thats called a helluva lotta G's!

  • @smz62582 You were a Captain on your first cruise?

  • @Myxboxisonfire No. LCDR

  • @smz62582 What VFA squadron were you with when this was taken?

  • @smz62582 The F/A-18 is good, andI plan on flying one.... but the Tomcat is still the king o fnaval aviation.

  • @Legendary588 Look up the F/A-18 A+ and A++. And the B model is used in some training squadrons.

  • @Legendary588 you are an idiot. But i'm only a real naval aviator, so what would I know. Go back to playing flight simulator X, or whatever it is you do.

  • @iamjafoo I don't anymore actually. I'm flying Cessna 172s at KFAT, And I know several 144th FW (F-16C) pilots based here and we talk about military aviation a lot, we get F/A-18 Cs Ds Es and Fs from both the USN and USMC and I talk to them as well. And never, call me an idiot.

  • @Legendary588 Oh damn dude, you fly a 172? I didn't realize I was talking to chuck yeager here. Idiot.

  • @iamjafoo Enough. You and I both know you are not a pilot at all. If you were, you wouldn't be sitting here trolling me, and other people. If you were a naval aviator, or part of the military at all, you would at least show respect for us civies. Plus, almost everyone starts in a 172.

  • @Legendary588 Ahahaha, sure man, whatever you say. PS... do a little googling and come back and tell me what model the Blue Angels fly.

  • @iamjafoo I know they fly the F/A-18A with a modified flight stick with springs in it for better control. No, I didn't use google. That's the only F/A-18A that I know of, and its only for demonstration. Someone already told me about the F/A-18A+ and F/A-18A++ and he said thats basically an F/A-18C, He being an F/A-18E pilot, he said that the F/A-18A is no longer being used.

  • @Legendary588 Ok dude, im just going to let you keep living in your delusional FSX world. idiot.

  • @iamjafoo lol, I already said I'm flying in real life. But ok, see you later

  • @Legendary588 I meant a big boy airplane. A 172 does not make you an expert on all things aviation.

  • @iamjafoo One day I'll get to those "big boy" planes. See you around.

  • @Legendary588 Recently the team has obtained F/A-18C/D models. They still have some A/B's still around,.

  • Look at that wing flex! Damn!

  • i love the way the pilot is flying with one hand on the stick and his left hand up on that little canopy handle, like he's cruising down the highway in some old classic car :-) nice!!

  • and we wonder why fuel is so expensive

  • oh thats crazy

  • This pilot is freakin BEAST! He totally owns this sophisticated and dangerous piece of machinery!

  • Real pilots fly Navy...any doubters need to try to hit the postage stamp with a $60 million piece of machinery and walk away from it

  • What's the music's title please?
