Engl E530 + Carvin TS100 Demo

What do you like better" the laboga or E530? If you had to get rid of one,which one would you keep?

@SpongeBen30 Thanx man ! - the Carvin TS100 is great, you can play in bedroom level & still sound awsome .

its very "clear" ( so you can use it as a stereo power amp too) and that is the big disadvantage in it,. I now have the mesa 2:90, and you get some color from the power amp - somthing the Carvin TS100 didnt have.

but still - its a great power amp ( I use it now with EL34 power tubes since the mesa 2:90 can use only 6L6\5881 tubes )

you obviously have some nice gear" how do you feel the TS100 stacks up to other power amps(just as good or better?) TS100 is one of the options i am considering for a tube power amp.

oh man, e530 and ts100, my dream rig. Thats sick dude. do the pre and power amp match up pretty nicely, tone wise, i have to say it sounds like it.

How happy are u with this power amp? Been hearing good things and clips like yours, just wondering if its better than say a Rocktron Velocity 300 (SS) or just as good as a Fryette(VHT) 2902 or2502? Thinking of running a carvin ts100 with a PODHD.

@stemlife - I bought a Rocktron 300 and channel one died during my first practice. I called support and they sent me another one that was dead on arrival. I had them send me a third that died about 5 months later and then refused to give me my money back. I bought the carvin ts100 and although doesn't "color" your tone as much as other power amps costing nearly $1000.00 it sounds much better than the Rocktron. Don't get me wrong, the rocktron sounded great, but it never had the tube feel.

@alepaan You cant record just the TS100, Its a power amp ,it must be connected to a pre amp.

I think its a good power amp with a great price, as you can here its can do metal pretty good - i'll upload some overdrive, crunch & clean stuff later this week.
