  • How did they get water in there so fast

  • @ flyboy207 what do u mean by that

  • looks like i could of just started her up and drove her, i bet she purred!

  • Wha ye do wit de trac after..?

  • Quite a project! Would be sort of funny to say "I hit a tractor with my boat..."

  • loved the vid great choise of music!

  • Why weren't you guys around 20 years ago? Excellent job carried out meticulously! Well done...

  • You did a great job. I think all of the locals should put their hands in their pockets and donate a few dollars to the RNLI, for your sterling effort in getting rid of a hazard to navigation and an eyesore.

    10/10

  • Maybe you and your buddies could recover some more junk like the Titanic. Only a dumbass would try to recover a piece of equipment that has sat in salt water for 20 years!

  • @gpzbilly

It was a safety hazard you dumb shit. What did you think we removed it for? spare parts??

  • @Forestmachines Your a funny guy. Bet your parrents are very proud of you......

  • @gpzbilly it was for money!

  • @killthebums So What. Don't you realize that no one gives a damn about anything you say, including my left nut!

  • @gpzbilly but you dont have a left nut or i right nut for that matter

  • did you guys found that tractor?

  • An old friend of all of us loved to say " I love when a plan comes together "

  • looks like old lake bed?

  • Less tractor recovery, more tractor removal.

  • few sized bolts on that bitch

  • good job, looks like it was pretty much vandelized over the years.

    oh, it'll buff out

  • should have left that POS there lol

  • Good piece of work I must say!

  • that was really intresting and cool! definatley was not a waste of my time at all 5 starssss

  • After 20 years it ought to fire right up lol.

BTW, what on earth was it doing out there?!?!?

  • well done

  • 20 years in salt water...won't be worth anything except scrap...Question is, who's the dumb Schmuck that left it out there?

  • Did you get it started afterwards?

  • brilliant video! looks vaguely like an old massey 240 difficult to make out though. what was it?

  • Its an old Belarus

  • @Forestmachines

Did you sold it as scrap and made a buck on it.

  • looks like a late model ford but not too old... thts a shame really... how did that thing ever get stuck out there anyways??? did the tide just swallow it up for twenty years???

  • Good work!!

  • What a wild recovery!

    Well done!

  • well done excerlent vid

  • OMG 20 YEARS??'

  • I think Im going to cry :( sooo nice.

  • Nice to see a tractor saved

  • How did it ever get out there!???? great vid, and, man that looked like it would have been cool to help!

  • Why would anyone even want that hunk of junk?

  • No-one wanted it. thats not why it was removed. It was a hazard. Although it did weigh in for scrap and earned a £146 donation for the the RNLI in the process

  • @gpzbilly why would anyone want to listen to you?

  • @discocreator76 Because when gpzbilly speaks! the smart people close their mouths and open there ears!!!!!

  • nice slide show my friend, good choice of music as well ,were they C1-30 wing tanks you used?

  • Sounds like you know better than me mate. All I knew was they were from a plane. Still got them

  • What part of Canada is this?

    Great vid, by the way.

  • It is in South West Scotland, not Canada

  • i was just curious why was it out there to begin with? not being a smartass i was just wondering?

  • Great to view this from western Canada. Whats the music here?

  • great effort and ideas.

  • gaw goes to show wat u can do wen u want to !! a super job , no one wants to leave a tractor to the sea well not unless its a david brown !!!

  • you cant use a tractor to dig for clams you have to use a clam rake hahahahahh whata shame totle loss when it comes to salt water one word ? junk lol

  • the tractr is a belarus u can tell by the axle legs

  • Good video. 5/5

  • Agreed,

Poor old tractor shame it is not really worth anything now after 20 years of salt bay water

  • very good, love the skip trailer!, scrap was £180 a ton for a wile there, so im guessing thats why she was recovered, but saying that some wd-40 and she wud be good as new....... not lol

  • Good job.

  • And there was me thinking the next time i saw you guys i would get a nice cheap tractor ha ha. What is the make of the tractor?

  • great job. very interesting. have been cockling myself for years. latterly at carsethorn. know the dangers as we were at morecambe the time the poor chinese drowned. (though that was down to gangmaster negligence) any way i've seen a few tractors being pulled out over the years, but not after twenty years. amazing. am from dumfries and cant recall seeing it when down the carse, tho can remember some of the boys talking about it years ago when at so'ness. you couldn't have had to cross channel ?

  • It was round the corner from Carsethorn heading towards Southerness. Probably just out of sight from where you would be working.

  • Well done mate ! what a job !

hey how long it been there for ?

  • 20 years ago mate almost to the day

  • OH one more question. Did it get stuck down there and just get left or did it just get dumped there?

  • It was an old tractor that was used for collecting cockles and it got stuck out there 20 years ago. when we pulled it out the right front wheel was still inflated and the wheel bearing was spinning perfectly!

  • the things people will do for 40 quids worth of scrap metal. fair play to you boys.

  • you're just about right there mate!

  • Brillant well done. What are you going to do with it. It looks to far gone for resto?

  • Buddrinkerste's not far wrong, we're going to weigh it in for scrap and give the money to the local lifeboat station. Have to get all the mussels off first - don't think the scrap man would be too happy if we took it in like that... It Stinks!! The main reason for moving it is due to it being a hazard to the boats. The guys that knew it was there quite liked it as it was a good marker but all it takes is someone unfamilier coming in and it could be nasty. Thanks for looking in

  • Yes would be a bit dogey. My local boat club (who i am a member) Has 2 david browns and 1 mf35. All have been under more than once. People think the sand is either like concret or tractors go anywhere. I have pulled loads of things out with the winch on my landy. The club saying is "If in doubt pace i out"

I think you have done a brillant job and could have saved a nasty accident. Briillant thanks for posting
