  • Nice song, stirring lyrics, great thing to do, fantastic that Kennedy & Hatch were able to put their differences aside, TREMENDOUS examples--both of them. The only thing I can't understand here, is why on earth anyone would arrange for a guy who sounds like he's got half a pound of raw bacon stuck in his throat, to try to sing it! Who is this guy, the Marlboro Man? Joe Cocker's voice is like buttered silk compared to this guy's!

  • very creative... sad, but creative!! :)

  • @MrGlutamine brilliant sir... just brilliant

  • Beautiful. Especially the sailing bits. Very well done.

  • I think it's wrong to be demeaning to Ted Kennedy on a video that posts such a beautiful song. Whatever you thought of the man, this is the time to put politics aside, just for now.

It's also wrong for those to demand we give up our principles and follow Ted's dream, even if we think it's misguided and harms what America stands for. I also find it funny that no democrat will ever write any such song for any republican. I thought they were supposed to be the compassionate ones...

  • Bless your heart!

  • Great song Senator! Great Picture too, when was it taken?? God Bless you and May God Bless and Welcome Teddy Home!!

  • Im proud of Orrin Hatch to put aside partisan politics and write a tribute to a real patriot and friend opf america I dont nessicarily agree with sen hatch on the issues but he has a good heart to put politics aside and honor a brave and thoughtful senator.Senator ted Kennedy.

  • Stop fighting over your pet political parties and get your eyes open people! They don't give a damn about anything but your money and having power over you!

  • This administration is living like royalty off the backs of the American people and we are stupid enough to think they care for the poor.

    How pathetic we've become.

  • He saw in Columbia Point and Mound Bayou a model for the nation and introduced an amendment to the Economic Opportunity Act that set aside $51 million to get another 30 centers started around the country. Today, as a direct result of Sen. Kennedys vision as a 34-year-old, first-term senator, 20 million low-income Americans receive access to quality primary care at 1,200 community health centers across all 50 states and U.S. territories.

with every vilification post another accomplishment

  • Have some class

  • Great Man. Champion for the poor and underprivileged. I'll always remember when he visited my workplace. There was a crowd of my fellow employees all around him. I wanted to shake his hand, but he was turning around getting ready to leave. He happened to glance back and notice me. He turned back around, walked to the back of the crowd and shook my hand. A moment I shall never forget and cherish for the rest of my life.

  • How come the christian conservatives are the least CHRIST like? WWJD he would help the poor. you greedy idiot.

  • Actually, Conservatives statistically give away a higher percentage of their income to those in need than Liberals. They believe that charity is the job of private organizations and individuals, not the government.

  • Show me some evidence of this. I've read numerous times that it is the least privileged that give away the highest percent of income.

  • To my state Senator Orrin Hatch,

I think a better way to honor the great Ted Kennedy is not through song but making a difference to honor Senator Kennedy's life long wish of health care to all Americans.

  • I'm only 55 and I remember he got off scott free for driving while intoxicated, manslaughter and failure to render aid. This song is really disgusting.

  • Scuba diving....

  • ... Have you taken a history class? John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United States who served from 1961-1963, was assassinated November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas. Ted Kennedy is JFK's younger brother by 16 years.

  • And now a man who gave the GOP and the country distinguished service for decades wants to say goodbye to his friend and you don't have the decency to at least click over to the Glenn Beck chatroom and do your pontificating there? Is being decent too "politically correct" for you? Is being an asshole a traditional value now? I can't believe I was a Republican once.

  • So Orrin Hatch is a RINO now? Because he didn't hate Ted Kennedy? That's the measure of a Republican these days, how much they hate. Everywhere you look angry Republicans are completely disregarding any pretence of civility, acting like total bastards while telling us how morally superior they are Why are they angry? Because they lost a couple of elections? And liberals are supposed to be a bunch of crybabies, right?

  • This was beautiful. Though I'm only 17, I've always loved and still love Teddy so very much. I have been having such a difficult time these past few days... but this song is really uplifting. <3

  • i feel the same.

ill be 17 in september and teddy was one of my favorite politicians. He was a great man.

  • Is this actually Senator Hatch's voice?

  • i didn't think orrin sang. the song he wrote for teddy and vicki, "souls along the way", was sung by someone else.

  • Outstanding song and tribute, Sir. And, by the way, for maybe just one site, on this tragic day, can we just ONCE not bicker over left v. right? This Infantry Soldier is tired of the inhouse fighting.

  • Thank you Sen.Hatch !

Very fitting song for a great champion of the people.

    Legalize The Irish!

  • Unlike most conservatives of these days, Kennedy admitted his guilt. Anyone hear about how Laura Bush killed her ex boyfriend in a drunk driving accident when she was 17?

See how it works both ways?

Ignorance is what's bringing this country down and most of them are posting comments here. Though I don't agree much with Orin, he has the balls to put politics aside to show his respect for Ted.

  • We all should admire and praise any man who can successfully kill a woman and get away with it. A true American for all to follow. I am honored to be a part of this country with such a magical sense of knowing that everything is " nice " and to live in the land of dreams. This is what the forefathers meant for it to be. If you call yourself great, then we should act like gods.

    Hooray Obama!

    Save the Animals!

  • The Kennedy Camelont/Scamalot legacy is finally over. I was never a fan of the Kennedys so I would be a hypocrite to mourn the passing of Ted Kennedy. That's not to say I didn't hope he would be cured of his cancer. I don't wish harm on anyone but I can not feel bad that he won't be returning to the Senate.

  • Islamo-marxists...that's why the world thinks Americans are stupid, because you all are. Let's just split into blue and red states, see who lives better you conservitards.

  • Whos Ted Kennedy?

  • This endeavor by Hatch is further evidence that RINO's will spare nothing to make damn fools of themselves. We are in the midst of having our nation DESTROYED by the islamo-marxist wrecking ball in the whitehouse, put there thru the efforts of the kennedys and ACORN election "riggers" and this damn fool...who was put in office by his constituents to safeguard US national security...is composing tributes to one of the drunken retards responsible for the current tragic state of the nation.

  • Thank you for posting this beautiful song, Senator Hatch.

Sugarpuddin88, what Ted Kennedy did 40 years ago was horrible. However, I believe that he has more than redeemed himself in the contributions he has made to humanity - bettering the lives of many millions of people in the U.S. and around the world. Kennedy worked tirelessly, when he could have been living a life of leisure.

In addition, he must have gone through a personal hell of guilt all of these years.

  • Dear Melody..you make this troll sound like Mother Theresa. Teddy boy has always been a "pampered" sex fiend shielded by his daddys money...gimme a break. He's done nothing but push "INFANTICIDE" and "spread the wealth" legislation to keep his Massachussetts election "rigging' machine well oiled. How's the murder of 50 million plus helpless infants since 1972 sound??

  • It's not my call, but I seriously doubt Teddy is headed for "canonization" as a saint any time soon. The "FIX" has always been in for Teddy. Regardless of what the RINO hypocrits and islamo-marxist trolls have to say, his most spectacular achievements and those he will always be remembered by ARE: the mass murder of 50M infants, Mary Jo Kopechne AND the team rape (with Chris Dodd) of restaurant waitresses on the dining room floor.

  • Haha you have no idea what the far left looks like you uneducated retard.

  • Are you sure you're not a closet Liberal, Senator, lol ??!! thank you so much for this... may God Bless you richly.

  • Great great song... Senator great voice. I lost my mom on May 18th to Brain Cancer and its been difficult for me since. This song helps me greave... thank U.

  • Senator I have a lot against your policies but should say that, you have the most beautiful voice on earth!

  • That isn't Senator Hatch singing. He wrote the song but he didn't sing it.

  • you're pathetic. you must have a very empty life. you have my sympathy, stranger.

  • Thank you, Senator Hatch, for your beautiful tributes to Senator Kennedy.

Thank you both for your service to America.

  • Great speech at the Kennedy Memorial Senator Hatch. The speech was moving and easy to tell that every word came from someone who cared deeply for Senator Kennedy. The poem you wrote and shared at the end brought me to tears, and for that speech I will always consider you a great man that has a genuinely good heart. I may not agree politically with you, but as you state, that does not mean I can't view you as someone good, and I have admiration for you now. I will miss Ted too.

  • Nice tribute Senator Hatch thanks for sharing!

    ~Linda from Massachusetts

R.I.P Teddy we will miss you!

  • He always was on the Senate floor fighting for the rights of the less fortunate, even swearing to speak for hrs in his 70s if it would help those less fortunate.

And, Mr. Beck, just because you fight for the poor - DOESN'T MAKE YOU A COMMUNIST!

  • Here in Massachusetts we don't kick out our goodnatured congresspeople because of a terrible accident. I can't speak for your state though. RIP Ted

  • Yeah, you tell them, George! Most people that kill others just go to jail

Here in MA we make them Senators with the most liberal record in history.... next to the present occupant of the White House!

  • Two old statist cronies encrusted with power.

    Groovy.

  • That's about the size of it.

  • Hey Orrin -- I just heard an NPR interview with Ed Klein here on YouTube. Klein said said that Fat Ted loved and solicited the latest Chappaquiddick jokes. I suppose for elitists like Klein and yourself, that was just another manifestation of his sterling character.

That creep lived forty years longer than he ought to have.

  • Great song, great voice. To all of those spurting out comments about the Mary Jo incident, the majority of you talking negatively about Ted Kennedy weren't even alive 40 years ago when it took place, nor even knew the man. Everybody makes mistakes; I have made mistakes, you have made mistakes. Holding a grudge against someone and demoralizing them over something that occured 40 years ago, involving people you don't know is foolish at best - it reveals a very self-righteous and shallow mindset.

  • Let's be honest. Ted Kennedy had a lot of demons and he did a lot of good. He was a complex, flawed human being with great drive, strong ideals and a winning personality. His life can be summed up as follows: He couldn't sing but he sang anyway. He was flawed but he helped people. He was a thoughtful person who could act in selfish ways. He was human.

  • Beautiful song. Thank you for sharing this and honoring the life of one who actually devoted himself to improving the lives of so many others for so many years. Too bad about the hate-filled judgementalists who seem so prevalent here. They seem more than a bit unaffected by the words, deeds and actions of their Savior.

  • Ted Kennedy was the last of the great Kennedy era. He will be missed by everybody in Massachusetts. And New England. His dream of health care will come true.

  • It is extremely decent of Senator Hatch to put this tribute to Senator Kennedy out there.

That said, wow, this song is terrible. For example, taking us "halfway to the stars" usually leaves you in the cold vacuum of outer space.

Senator Hatch should study the classics before putting pen to paper. Other than that, Senator, great job.

  • With all these negative and poison backed statements, it your asked most they would say they they were Christians--they sure can remember his failings but forget Christ;s comment on ..he without sin...

  • The Senator and I have little common ground politically. But I always respect a gentleman. We will disagree... but we need not be disagreeable. The sooner that idea returns to politics, the better for all of us, Left and Right.

Thank you, Senator Hatch, for your kind thoughts and your memorial for a man you were able to call both adversary *and* friend.

  • Folks- Please suspend your political diatribes for once. Partisanship has no place in honoring another person's life and his contributions whether or not you agree with them. This is a time of mourning for this country. Please keep your negativity to yourselves if you can't say something positive.

  • I guess you can't wait till G.W. Bush dies for sending 4000+ people to Iraq to die.

I'm all for treating delirious presidents the same way we would treat delirious citizens.

  • Comment removed

  • Spending trillions to free Iraqis and rebuild their cites a 1,000 miles ...... REPUBLICANS SUPPORT WITH NO PROTEST

Spending Trillions to give their fellow Americans who aren't insured some kinda health care

REPUBLICANS DON'T SUPPORT AND THEY PROTEST AT TOWNHALLS

Republicans care more about people in Iraq then they do about their fellow Americans ?

    YOU BE THE JUDGE

  • Fuck Orrin Hatch.....Really

  • Robert Byrd should have played violin on this.

  • I don't care what your politics are. This was a classy thing to do.

  • Of course, Orin, a real friend would pay tribute by honoring his friend's wishes, or at least working toward honoring them.

A song just doesn't cut it. Why don't you help pass health care reform, with a public option? That's what your dear friend wanted.

  • Hatch is another American failure. Hatch once represented his elected, but he too sold his soul. Axis of American Human failures.

  • That's right Senator Hatch! Honor your friend and punish the taxpayers with government run health care! They run everything else so well!

  • Dear Senator Hatch, the biggest tribute you could offer to your dear friend to put aside partisanship and do the right thing. Help Kennedy's version of insurance reform pass through the senate. Convince your fellow republican senators that this is not about sticking it to the democrats or winning elections. It is about the pressing need of the american people. Thanks!

  • This is a very nice tribute to a great american. Nice work senator hatch its not about democrats or republicans its about thinking about americans who lost a great senator. May Teddy rest in peace and visit you in his ghost form in the senate . R.I.P. Ted Kennedy 1932-2009.

  • HEY GOD WHERE AM I GOING ?

  • Billy Mays ,Farh Fewett and Ed McMahon .....

you don't mention them ,,,,Just MJ THE ACCUSED AND TED ....amazing

  • agreed! honor ted's memory by passing a health care bill, senator hatch!

  • RIP Ted Kennedy

    this song is awful though

  • Thank you Senator Hatch, this is a very nice tribute to your friend, and it gives me hope that despite political differences, there are decent people on both sides of the issues that affect our country.

  • Honor him, Senator Hatch. Pass a health care plan - WITH the public option - for America.

  • Senator Hatch with all due respect if you do not get health care passed with a strong public option you will be doing your long time friend Teddy a shameful disservice. Show compassion for your fellow man. Do the work of god and care for your fellow man.

  • R.I.P. Senator Edward M. Kennedy! -

No, you were not a Communist as Beck alleged, just an American always concerned about the less fortunate.

  • R.I.P. Senator Edward M. Kennedy!

  • You say..

You stupid fuck, the reason that abortions and illegal aliens ARE covered in the plan is because the courts have ruled that by virtue of the fact that it's not EXCLUDED,

Based on your logic why cant i assume that this bill doesn't support the ability for a 14 year old to have an abortion without contacting her parents ?

Is it in the bill ? based on the "virtue of the fact that it's not EXCLUDED" does it mean i can assume 14 year old will be getting abortion from this bill ?

  • I certainly hope so. Any pregnant 14 year old needs to be having an abortion.

  • Bristol Palin got pregnant at 15....

It's nice to know you would have been in favor of her getting rid of her kid

  • I still am.

  • Is it in the bill ? based on the "virtue of the fact that it's not EXCLUDED" does it mean i can assume 14 year old will be getting abortion from this bill ?

    Yes, You may assume that!

  • I am not delusional, and unlike you I am not misinformed. There is no provision in any of the bills to cover illegal aliens. None. And once again, we are already paying for the uninsured -- our health care costs in this country are 70% higher than every other industrialized country in the world, and we are the only one that does not have universal health care. We are also ranked 37th in terms of quality. These are the facts, and only the facts. This is my last response. Keep drinking the Koolade.

  • You wouldn't know a FACT if it was sitting in your hand. but you are right about one thing, we are the only ones in the world that still have freedom to CHOOSE--we haven't turned our brain over to the collective mind of the GOV....yet.... you might want to start learning Chinese and practice standing in line to get your delusional meds. I'm through with this--I am one of the 40% that support the other 60% --gotta go to work--Obamacare is knocking at the door. keep sucking those fumes.

  • What a beautiful song....

  • If politicians do good for their communities, their states, and their country. Thats great. We need more of those kind of people. They are our public servents. They work for us. When the opposite happens, what do we do? Get rid of them-----no matter what party they belong to!

  • end soon

    this season of such

    dark sorrow.

    thank you

    Senator.

    © by TL Payne

I believe the man more than atoned for his 'sins', with a concerted effort to do good. I believe he will be missed by most.

  • How about you jerks shut up and go spout your bile on a forum somewhere? This is just a dude with a pretty good voice singing a song for his dead friend. Idiots.

  • How did he pay his dues? What punishment did he serve? One of the worst human beings to walk the planet! Why do some idolize this guy. He was a scum. Ask the poor waitress that he molested how great he was!

  • You're one of those that will find anything wrong with those you disagree with politically. Quite unfortunate.

  • One of the worst human beings to walk the planet? Really?

  • Thank you for posting this tribute to Senator Kennedy Senator Hatch. He devoted his life to "public service"!!

He will join Congressman Tip O'Neill another Boston politician who could reach across the aisle to get things done for the American people and not make it "personal"!

This is an end of an era. Condolences to the friends and family of the Senator and all those he has touched through the years. R.I.P. Senator Edward M. Kennedy! You will be missed.

  • The bible say to they who have not sinned throw the 1st stone, he paid his dues and he did sooo much for our country if you are a good christian you would forgive and get on with playing tribute to the works he acomplished for us Americans i saw Fair winds and good tides Teddie we loved you...Say hello to your brothers for us and little John ...god bless you on your path and pay no mind to these other ignorant people...

  • the CIA killed his brother....get your facts straight Jammersburn

  • seriously Jammersburn....he DID do alot for our nation...he got to the senate thru camelot. YET he killed a young girl . YOU would not of been able to walk away from that tradgedy right??

  • jammersburn....confront the truth....he killed the girl in 1962. Got away with it as he was DRUNK driving....left the scene of a fatality!!!!!!!

  • fanomatic2009........CONFRONT THE TRUTH!

    CIA killed her.

  • obviously Kennedy won't be meeting Mary Jo Kopeckne in heaven as he is headed to Purgatory---as ther catholics call iy. By the way he was MARRIED at the time he was bringing the young girl "home" who drowned in his car. Typical Kennedy infidelity.

  • Typical "Conservatard" argument.

  • classy singer for an old guy,,,,Sen Kennedy not so classy. Just ask the relatives of Mary Jo Kopeckne who Kennedy walked away from while she was DROWNING in nhis car he was driving drunk. He lefyt it UNTIL the NEXT morning so he could sober up. Thankfully he got away with negligent manslaughter because his brother was President at the time.

  • You....are not so classy either.

  • What a very pretty song.

I have always found it ironic that those who dislike Ted Kennedy the most are among those who owe him the most.

  • You are right. It is ironic that those people who dislike Ted Kennedy the most, owe him the most. Anyone who is unable or unwilling to see the benefits he brought this country is deceiving themselves.

  • A real tribute would be to support the public plan for health insurance. Try putting the health and security of the American PEOPLE ahead of the rich corporations for once, Republicans. Is there ANY HONESTY left in government? Future generations of Americans will hold you accountable.

  • Senator Hatch's tribute: classy.

Some of the comments here: not so much.

  • Thanks Senator Hatch, for finally owning up to the fact that there isn't a dime's worth of difference between 'the two parties'.

Ted Kennedy was the poster child for everything that's corrupt in the corridors of power. He caused the death of a young woman because of his drunken recklessness. That you would 'honor' him speaks volumes about *your* character.

  • creepy

  • headed to hell is more like it.

  • Thank you for this beautiful song, Senator Hatch. I loved Ted Kennedy and everything he stood for and accomplished. The fact that you were such close and dear friends is as much a testament to your capacity for empathy as it is to his.

  • going to judgment is more like it. no money to buy you out of accepting responsibility.

wonder if he's rethinking turning the screw on the lil people now?

  • Thank you, Senator Hatch. This is a very moving tribute.

God Bless our country and all her people.

  • Comment removed

  • A moving tribute, Senator Hatch. I hope you will further honor this champion of the less fortunate amongst us by working for real health care for all Americans

  • ...To suggest that anyone voting against a bill for his rational views implies disloyalty or disrespect to a friend who has passed is to pervert the death of a man, using his name to lead people into abandoning reason and making decisions from grief.

Mr. Hatch spoke well on Meet the Press Sunday during his debate with Senator Schumer. Go watch!

  • ...A proper tribute to a deceased friend would be a beautiful arrangement of flowers, a photo on an office wall, or - a well-composed farewell song such as Senator Hatch has written. It is not a tribute to a friend to adopt his views and keep his mind alive while killing one's own. It is not responsible to speak using a deceased friend's voice rather than one's own...

  • My thoughts, and those of millions of other Americans, are with Senator Hatch as well as the many friends and family of Ted Kennedy. This is a beautiful and touching song.

As for the comments suggesting that Mr. Hatch would do well to honor and "pay tribute" to Mr. Kennedy by pushing for a government option in health care seem not to know the definition of a "tribute," not to mention the meaning of integrity or responsibility. Senator Hatch is one of the few in government who does....

  • DAMN son, Orrin can sing.

  • Thank you, Senator Hatch, for a beautiful tribute. Please continue to honor him by working for real health care reforms. Finally bringing this basic human right to every American man, woman and child would be the best way to honor Ted. Thanks again for a beautiful song.

  • Dear Senator Hatch,

You/America are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of mourning the loss of one of the greatest statesmen in the history of this country and one of it's, and your, dearest friends.

If you wish to Honor Him, as you declare in this beautiful song that we must- please work for and help to pass Universal Healthcare this fall in the Senate.

To do any less would sully the name of Senator Kennedy.

  • I would also like to echo the sentiments of everyone who says that another fitting tribute to Senator Kennedy would be to vote yes on health care reform. Of course, you must do right by your constituents, as well, so please vote your conscience. Think about it.

  • Dear Senator Hatch,

Everyone on the YouTubes is saying this is you singing.

Please inform people that the singer is actually Tony Middleton. Thank you.

  • Senator Hatch:

As a further tribute to your old friend, could you help fulfill Senator Kennedy's dream of ensuring all Americans affordable health care? That would be a real tribute to Teddy.

  • Thanks, Sen. Hatch for this heartfelt tribute to your friend. My hope is that we can all retain the freedom to choose our own healthcare, just like Teddy.

  • Nice to see that there still are politicians with a sense of humanity. Thank you, Senator Hatch. God bless Ted Kennedy.

  • Classy move, Hatch!

  • One thing I've always admired about the Senate is that because it is such an insular but honorable body, all the members, no matter their ideological or philosophical differences, hold each other in such high regard. It would be disingenuous and sleazy for me to plug the healthcare bill running through Congress right now, but I really hope, for Teddy's sake, that his dream is finally realized, even if he didn't make it to the finish line with us. RIP Teddy.

  • My condolences, Senator, and that was very well done. It would be a wonderful tribute to your friend to see his dream fulfilled of ensuring that the millions of hardworking Americans who can't afford healthcare could get access to it.

  • Thank you for this beautiful tribute Senator Hatch. Senator Kennedy was a great man with great ideals. Now he is gone, I hope you will support a bill to give Americans the option of reliable and affordable public health insurance. That was his dream - to ensure ordinary people get the healthcare they need.

  • A classy tribute, Senator Hatch. While I'm from the other side of the political spectrum I know I speak for many when I say thank you.

  • Senator Hatch,

I am sure your friend would appreciate your depth of feeling for him that comes out in your song. I would suggest a better tribute would be to reconsider your position on the Health Care Reform that will soon go to a vote in the Senate. Your friend, Senator Kennedy, was a staunch supporter of the legislation. I hope your respect for him will open your eyes to what's best for the average American and bipartisanship.

  • Because he devoted his entire life to it and it would have been his greatest wish. There will be no taxes imposed on anyone making under $250,000. And contrary to your assertion, we are already paying for the millions of uninsured in hidden fees and and reimbursements to hospitals for emergency care visits to those who cannot afford to see a regular doctor. Health care reform should not pass because of Sen. Kennedy's death, but because we owe it to our children, not the other way around.

  • Actually if you had read what I wrote, I said that it is not the real reason to pass health care reform. And yes, I do believe Obama when he says that the plan must be paid for through cost cutting (I see that you also chose to ignore the part about how we're already carrying the uninsured), by forcing insurance cos. to compete & by taxing the richest of the rich. You can choose to believe otherwise, but it is a lie to say that the bill as written will explode the deficit. That's Bushonomics.

  • actually I ran out of letters to reply to everything. like I said if you believe Obamanomics is going to pay for all that and only raise taxes on the rich, you are delusional. and why should the rich pay for illegals healthcare--And if like you say we are already paying for it, why screw up the people that are happy with their insurance? We pay China 1.1 billion a month in just interest now. and we owe many more countries than just china. I think you have never owned a business of your own.

  • There will be new taxes on those making $125,000 or more. You're lying. Where do you think the money will come from for this abundant healthcare when millions are dumped into the system that many of us pay for? We're in debt to other countries up to our eyeballs and they're already taxing the wealthy a big chunk more. Now they want to pay for the biggest overhaul in US history - WHERE DO YOU THINK THE MONEY IS GOING TO COME FROM?!?!

  • I disagree. The healthcare reform that they are trying to ram through would be a disaster. Why would we hand over control of our healthcare system to the government when they can't even get Medicaid and Medicare right? Anytime the government tries to do something as well as the private sector, it fails miserably at the taxpayer's expense. If you want to honor Kennedy, GET THE TRUST BACK FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BY DOING SOMETHING RIGHT FOR ONCE. Please.

  • While Medicare may not be perfect, it has lower overhead than private insurance, and insures millions who would have NO care otherwise. You cannot call it a failure unless you don't know what your talking about!

  • all of the overhead is paid for by taxpayers and there are literally billions of dollars wasted on fraud every year! Why would I put my faith in the government to put in place a bigger healthcare overhaul when they can't even get Medicare under control?! Shouldn't they fix that FIRST
