Yeah, that was the same for some other games, only 3 channels + 1 for noise one this sound chip :) But Amstrad CPC 6128 was my first computer, and forever rulezzzzzzzzzz ! :-p
I remember playing the standup version at a bowling alley back in the 20th Century. I have never heard of any in the world ever completing the standup arcade version. I played the NES version off and on over a period of 5 years before completing the NES version.
A very old and nice game. But the graphic was much better in the MAME-version of the same game. I like the Solomon´s key-series :) But the best version of the game-music comes from the NES-version. (at1981)
I would like it more and probably play it more if it were not for the time limit..

God, I loved this game. One of the few puzzle games that I had to fully play to the end in its moment :-)

In this game and the second game, your goal is to put out fires.

The sound hardware can't handle the sound effects and music at the same time lol. The NES version has better music.

God! and I thought "Commidore 64" had terrible Graphics but the "Amstrad CPC" takes the slice!

They both were 160*200, 16 colors at best (excluding tweaked modes), but the C64 also had hardware sprites.
