For anyone interested you can get the zeitgeist source book here wwwdotstellarhousepublishingdotcomslashzeigeistsourcebookdotpdf or just type zeitgeist source book into your search engine. It does show sources this guy either does not want to know about or simply hasn't taken the time to research. It's obvious his or her research starts and stops with the bible.

3)...as well as other people of color object to the image of a white jesus. This has become a serious obstacle in witnessing Christ to others. First of all Jesus was not white, and it is stricly forbidden to make any images of him Heb.9:24. Such images pervasive under western colonialism is seen as a tool of white supremacy. There is still a lot of work the church must do to be pure a completely faithful to the Word of God,Jude.3,4:IITim.2:15.
2)...of a time when the churches are grossly apostate, dumbed down, with no premium on teaching of sound biblical doctrine. The charismatic variety of christianity is in vogue with health, wealth, and prosperity. Signs and lying wonders(Matt.24:24)abound. When the enemies of faith attack they site the pagan connections of the R.C. church along with atrocities like the inquisition
and lump all of christendom together. To make matters worse(as an African-American) many black people...
1)The arguments presented by the zietgeist film is not new. These arguments originated from Madame Petrova Blavatsky's synthesis of truth along with interpretations from Gerald Massey, etc. They were easily refuted in the 19th century. As theosophy was the major anti-Christian movement of the day. A.W. was a former follower but reaffirmend and cosolidated his faith in Christ. The faith will be attacked until Christ comes. The difference is that this is occuring in the midst ...
and further more since this video only refers to zeitgeist as being false, not science. all of your arguments are irrellevant.it would seem that you are angered by the fact that zeitgeist was refuted so hard, that your clinging to a desperate attempt to continue attacking religion. Dracco73s last comment was completely correct. People are entitled to their own oppinion. Since it does not change yours, why does it matter
Saying there is no evidence to support religion is ignorant. one must only look closer. but as this is irrelevant, it doesnt matter. if there was iriffutable proof that God exists then it would remove your choice all together. Free will is a gift as the bible says, if god were then to offer proof of his existence, then you cant choose. we would just know that god is real.
"Aruru thorugh of Anu. Then she wet her creative fingers, FASHIONED A ROCK, and tossed it as far as she could into the woods. Thus she FATHERED Enkidu."
[Epic of Gilgamesh 2150 BC-2000BC]
This is why Mithra is called "Theos ek Petras" or "God from the Rock" -- he is another version of Enkidu was born from the rock that the Virgin Aruru created
I'm all for objectivity, and have no qualms about revising my opinion when presented with better information. That said, it's rather interesting that the supposed lack of evidence for these correlations between the Christ mythos and that of the gods of earlier cultures is what's being used to refute the claims in Zeitgeist. Especially when one considers the fact that there is no non-biblical evidence whatsoever that Jesus of Nazareth was an actual person. The quest is for Truth, not reassurance.
No matter what your opinion is, you have to hand it to this guy for going out and doing his research. Fair play to him, there is some good information in this video although it doesn't change my opinion with regards to religion. A belief in a god with a bird head is just as plausible as any of those assertions made about the Christ.

zeitgeist tried to prove Jesus was not God, but it can not be done and never will be done. He shouldn't of made some up some BS and tried to pull others away from the Truth.

Although Paul never met Jesus (who died about 30 A.D.), he personally did know James, the brother of Jesus. Yet despite this eye-witness link to Jesus, Paul apparently knows nothing of the virgin birth, for he states only that Jesus was "born of a woman" (Galatians 4:4) and was "descended from David, according to the flesh" (Romans 1:3), thereby implying a normal birth."
"The doctrine of the virgin birth of Jesus, so central to the traditional Christmas story, was not part of the teaching of the first Christians, whom it should be remembered, also remained within the Jewish faith (Luke 24:52-53). The apostle Paul makes no reference to the virginal conception by the mother of Jesus when speaking of Jesus' origins and divinity. His epistles were written during the 50's A.D. and predate all of the four gospels.
So obviously they didn't quickly jump over to India to be copied. We know that the texts go back further and that will surely be proven one day, also they were very possibly passed on by word of mouth for hundreds perhaps thousands of years.
Robertson claims the Vedas are of much later production... that doesn't mean it's true. They point out the story is nothing alike, then say that the Hindu scriptures borrow. Also blue represents divinity. No one believes they were really blue. And if the oldest testimony for the Mahabharata dates to the First Century A.D. guess what! So do the earliest texts of the apostles!
The "Hindu" scriptures are newer than the "Christian" scriptures? The Vedas predate Christianity by thousands of years.
The earliest account of "The Bible", is the Sumerian text know as "The Tablets of Enki" which "The Old Testament" book of "Genesis" was obviously transcribed from. Archeologists date these tablets to over 6,000 years old.
"The New Testament" was a concoction of that murderer Constantine; and this "Jesus" was in fact a Vaishnava yogi; who else renames their discples?
@eastsider4eva THAT's so true. pople are convinced that illuminaty and all those " secret societies exsit but they dont want to believe in God.. i think i might know partially why. it comes to morality they dont want to abide to God's rule an want to be their own God and have total freedom.... but the truth is that less you stay attach with God the more you are enslaved
Whether or not Zeitgeist is true (although exaggerations are obvious) doesn't discount the fact that it is a genius work with an attempt to direct people away from Christianity and religion in general.
@VESANG Atheism is not a religion. It has no tenants. It is simply "non-theist". Science is the best way to search for answers. Not to rely on bronze age myths to fill in the gaps. It's best to admit we do not know a lot of things, than to invent gods to seperate us with ignorance, intolerance and ridiculous nonsense. It's often used as an excuse to kill, rape and oppress. Religion is a catalyst for weak-minded sheep to become dangerous, especially when in masses they can destroy much.
@dracco73 My friend i see your point and i am not excusing ridiculous religion but atheism is religion too.If you think that Charles Darwin and company did a lot of good giving the "great idea" of evolution and superior races in the hands of "wonderful people" like Hitler,Stalin and so on i would respectfully disagree with you on that one.Science when it comes to origin and meaning of life is complete non sense as well and answers nothing..
@VESANG Atheism wasn't the driving force of Stalin or Hitler. Their lust for power had nothing to do with religion or lack thereof. Atheism is simply non-theist. Science does a lot more to explain our origins and surroundings than theism. One states we don't know, while testing our environment with an open mind and an ever-evolving understanding (science) and the other is claiming we know it already because some bullshit book written over the span of two centuries COME ON!!!!
@dracco73 The problem with science is that it is naturally limited and when it comes to origin and meaning you can not apply scientific method /which is to observe, measure and demonstrate/ which makes science useless in this field. What you have there is a bunch of theories that after time get proven wrong from the very same scientific community. Evolution and atheism have big deal to do with a lot of bloody events.I grew up in communist country.
@VESANG That's precisely why science will always trump theism. One always takes a step forward in understanding and the other is stuck in the bronze age with bastardized pagan sun worship. Sorry guy theism is the moron's path. Science is full of theory, but more importantly fact. Every fact we know of is born in science. You scoff at science for it's theoretic and that's theism doesn't hold enough water to even be classified as theory!!!! It's alll HYPOTHESIS!!!! Hypothesis based on MYTH!.
@dracco73 You are making valid points i am just trying to suggest consistency.Just as ridiculous religion would reject facts and stick to assumptions so it is science when it comes to origin and meaning of life. Scientifically you can prove great intelligent power observing the order, laws, information and design of the universe but science would not go there for the same reasons religion would ignore reason. How did science help you with the Q of origin and meaning so far in your life ?
@VESANG Where you are mistaken is that you claim science has answers for the origins of life and existence. The Big Bang, is a theory based on observable facts!!! Does science claim this as fact? NO! Religion however makes the claim that every bit of the bible is true and the their god created the universe and everything. Big difference. Science makes it's best educated guess based on known facts. Religion does NO SUCH THING.
@VESANG Furthermore, religion makes these great claims based on ABSOLUTELY NO OBSERVABLE FACT! If an intelligence is responsible for the design, no such creator(s) has been proven to exist, nor is there any evidence that it even remains to have an influence on earth or anything else for that matter. Science is by far the more reasonable means to answer. Making shit up doesn't fly.
@dracco73 while science explains many things, it answers nothing. I agree with your attacks on religion, but there are elements of truth which transcend this world, which are hidden in fabrication. The theories of the big bang are as assumptive as salvation through faith. There is a bit of truth in science obscured by misleading BS, as is any religion. Do you dismiss a creative force altogether? I can't understand how a scientist or rationalist could work their way out of the creation concept.
@danwenzel Religion answers absolutely nothing and doesn't explain anything, but our ignorance to the facts that disprove it. There are scientists that discredit "creation" as possibility. That's not the discussion. I am talking about THEISM a god that created the universe. Intelligent design. We could all very well be a simulation by a more intelligent form of life. But to fabricate and intricate religion based on the laws of some imaginary god that we think gives to shits about
Religion explains or answers nothing!! You are not thinking outside box. I never argued against intelligent design. I am arguing against theism. The belief in a god with laws etc. There is ABSOLUTELY no proof of a omnipotent, omniscience and omnipresent god or gods that created everything. In fact there is just as much proof that it's mere chance or a race of higher intelligent aliens. But to create a cult and say that some invisible being cares what the hell we do... Come on!!!!
@dracco73 happy for you. Live your happy, knowing all life, and give a shit on spewing forth attack after attack on ppl who choose to believe in a God that created the universe and the laws that the universe abides by. It's their choice to make, NOT yours, no matter how high on your horse you're sitting. I'm perfectly capable of respecting your point of view, IF you find some humility within you to recognize my right to choose to belive whatever I choose to believe.
@eastsider4eva i think its nice that we all can have our opinions in regards to the first part of zeitgeist but thats niether here nor there..any thoughts on the rest of it?
But I take a nuance position of course, until the evidence is examined further. The real proof is in the stars, and the traditions that were passed down verbatum from indigenous tribes around the world. Peace All
And I have said this in another thread and I will say it again, you can search through the man-made, "primary" sources (mostly European) texts all you want, but fact is we will never know enough in a lifetime to literally know something lol. Not one Zeiteist refutre has even a basic knowledge of Astrology, or can read any of the languages these myths are derived from. And shame on Peter Joseph for doing the same.
One thing you missed about Dionysus that i'm sure you decided to ignore. I point you to the Bacchae, which was written by Euripides (known as his best work). This play is one of the only plays featured in the city Dionysia where Dionysus was the main character. The Bacchae was written in about 401 B.C. In line 1803 of The Bacchae Dionysus says "I came back to this land of my virgin birth". Just sayin...
There's so much evidence missing & miss translated that it's near impossible to know the real historical facts from myth & metaphor. I'm an agnostic (that is to say - I believe in the possibility of a greater wizdom). I think religion & science are two sides to the same puzzle. It's a shame so many are fighting about it rather than discussing it peacefully & rationally.
@MrLittletomdj i like your stance on these issues...but what i wana ask is, do you think what we're taught in High school about evolution being science? anyway, seeing that u recognize the partnership between science and religion...y not challenge what the books say science is [and if science is evolution that good, but if it is NOT evoluationary in any form, then even just the more good] try google videos...and search for kent hovind part 1...then part 2 all the way to part 7...bless up bro
@eastsider4eva I saw Zeitgeist and I don't believe EVERYTHING it says. I think for myself. It really doesn't matter how or why you compare one fairy tail religion to another. The fact is, they are all based on the Zodiac.
Trying to compare one book of fairy tails to another is just a waste of time. What really matters is that all these fairy tails are really Pagan religions based on the Zodiac.
if you actually did any research outside of internet bloggers who cite self proclaimed occult "experts", who cite acharya s who cites her imagination, you would see that though other religions may have existed before Christianity, the mention of an immaculate conception in these other religions (and it was less than six which even remotely mention anything close to this) not mentioned until well after the story of Jesus had been established and circulated, around approximately 3rd Century AD.
@redlightdeath Im afraid that's historically incorrect, not least because Justin Maar, who was one of the first christian historians, acknowledged the "immaculate conception" in other religions in the 1st century AD. Even further back through history the "immaculate conception" had long since permeated religion. Buddha for example, was conceived when the "Holy Ghost" descened unto his mother and entered her womb through the right-- no sexual intercourse was involved.
@theboopski did you watch this video at ALL?? he just refuted everything (with accredited sources and evidence) vomited forth by the zeitgeist movies. so your Q&A should look more like this: was krishna persecuted? MAYBE, depending on which legend of him you read. The missions of krishna and jesus were the same. PROBABLY. krishna worked miracles like healing people/raising the dead. NO; do some research. Known before christianity existed. NO, the first recorded text of this came far later
@redlightdeath As a christian, maybe you can clear up something for me. The concept of a deity's mother being impregnated by God, or by some other supernatural means--"divine presence descending into a womb"-- but not through sexual intercouse, was in at least 6 other religions predating christianity, and Im wondering if you can explain to me why it's in the bible, which is supposed to be completly original.
Ask yourself this---> Is there similar attributes in Krishna and Jesus ? Are they a lot similar ? YES---He was persecuted by a tyrant/ King who ordered the slaughter of thousands of infants who feared that the divine child would supplant his kingdom. (TRUE) The missions of Krishna and Jesus were the same - the salvation of humanity.(TRUE)Krishna worked miracles and wonders such as raising the dead and healing lepers, the deaf and the blind.(TRUE) This was known PRIOR to Jesus. (TRUE)
i had a dream long ago where jesus told me he was not jesus that infact i was jesus when i told people i was jesus they did not believe me i walked on water to show them and i fell in i drowned and brought myself back to life someone told me i would only be on earth for 40 more days but that was 6 and a half years ago i have also had problems turning water into wine hopefully people will stop making fun of me because it makes me feel bad
How would a man in 90 A.D. describe tanks and other devices of modern warfare? Read these passages and see if you don't think they might be his attempt to describe a vision where he sees these things but doesn't know what they are.
I should have posted these as replies to my previous comments, so to read them one would have to scroll down a bit and read up.
Or the "heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together"? Sounds like a pretty good ancient description of the implosion, blast, and mushroom cloud to me! How about the army of 200,000,000 that comes from the east? The population of the entire world may not have equaled that in 90 A.D., when that was written in Revelation 9:16, but that's about the size of the forces China can marshal today, if they need to "call out the reserves", so to speak.
How about the precise descriptions of nuclear war? Look up Zechariah 14:12 - what besides a nuclear blast can make a person's flesh consume away and their eyes consume away in their sockets BEFORE they even hit the ground? This prophecy is approximately 2400 years old. How about Revelation describing a great mountain burning with fire falling upon the sea, making the waters bitter so that 1/3 of the marine life dies?
that everyone in the whole planet would be required to receive a mark, without which they could neither buy or sell.
Global govt as the solution for the world's problems is the prevailing thought these days among the "elite" in politics and education, and this is exactly where we're headed. I'm sure you all know about microchips that are subdermally implanted, which hold all your information. This is precisely what will be and is being used to fulfill that prophecy of the "mark of the beast".
I found the debate between Suge212 & Wensteri very interesting and thought it was refreshing that neither resorted to denigrating the other with name-calling, etc. Suge212 cited some great prophecies; I'd just like to add a bit to those and remark that there are many, many more. The books of revelation and daniel predicted almost 2,000 years ago that there would be a 1 world govt under an antichrist dictator,

Jesus is the SUN...no matter how you slice it ! I can prove it...all this crap about Zeitgeist ...yes they made mistakes all of which I won't..come on over and bring your "A" game ! I'll show you your belief is BASED on ASTROLOGY !
"Amen" isn't a Christian word. Nor is it latin or greek or even hebrew. It's the name of the chief Egyptian god, aka Ammon; all Christians living and deceased, have unwittingly been giving lip service to the Egyptian Alpha and Omega, Ammon, for two thousand years. Amen or Ammon was known also in the ancient world as the planet Jupiter. The ancients, obviously, could see that planet in ways we now can not.
But, what does aman mean? aman {108x} , a primitive root; properly to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figurativly to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain:- believe.
(hidden meaning?)
Do you believe some words have origins?
Holocaust used to refer to a burnt ritual sacrifice.
What does it mean now?
when was it decided that it was ok to change the meanings of words?
Holocaust actually isn't that far away from its "older" meaning, it can also mean something completley burned.
Meanings of words often change...the important thing is not how people understood the word in other times (but it might be interesting), but how you understand it today, I think.
@mawa89g yes and the ancient Hebrews WERE the Egyptian priesthood who 'worshipped' Amen-Ra. See Ralph Ellis's work - some excellent uploads here on yt
1. HOW can one base his beliefs on a product (scripture) of a time during which people had very low level of reasoning and understanding ability of the things around them (read... earth is flat land floating in water and hanging stars from an inverted bowl of sky)?
2. When people were lacking rational explanation to understand the things they see, doesn't it make sense that they believed in fabricated explanations (stories about Gods) manifested through their imagination merely based on their experiences/observations? Obviously, such stories would answer their questions about life and everything thus related but none of them were unpredictable revelations even to the people of their own time. They consisted of easy ways out for all the questions. MIRACLES.
3. Such stories (about miracles of Gods) merely serve to satisfy people's thirst for answers to many questions (some of which we yet have to know) until someone who looks at things in a different perspective (Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, etc) using contemporary technology and unbiased interpretation of observations, with more profound reasoning, for the rest of the world to see and understand. Let's gain knowledge through EXPERIMENTATION and OBSERVATION but not through irrelevant SCRIPTURES.

Dionysius performed a miracle of wine, as Jesus did. These myths have to be analyzed with margins of imprecision, for they are ancient traditions... it's like comparing urban legends nowadays. The problem with christians is that they dismiss ANY shred of evidence that goes against their beliefs, inhibiting dialetics and truth.
@sergiost The problem with atheists is that they dismiss any shred of evidence that goes against THEIR beliefs, inhibiting dialects and truth. The God factor is immediately dismissed in all forms of science, despite the fact that there is clear intelligent design. Some people have come to the conclusion in their own minds that there is no God. Let me share with you a secret. God reveals himself to those who first believe in him and then seek him. A catch 22 for an atheist.
@Suge212 Intelligent design's only argument is complexity. That's it. Evolution by natural selection pretty much explains how species, step by step, become so complex. Intelligent design certainly isn't a fact. As for your little secret, that's called autosuggestion - if you want to believe something, you'll believe it and you may get some spiritual confirmation. The problem is, it doesn't matter what you believe in. Basically, your subconscious mind is lying to you.
@Wensteri You guys seem to have a word for everything to explain things don't you? Look don't believe me when I say to you that God revealing himself is a very real and PHYSICAL experience. I must be lying or under some kind of delusion. The fact that I have dreams that come true. That nothing happens by coincidence anymore. All just lies or delusions. What I know to be true is this. Your spirit is crying out for God (which is why you watch videos like this) yet your flesh is screaming "NO GOD!"
@Wensteri Just because YOU haven't come to know or have seen a thing, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just because you can't prove GOD by means of your scientific instruments doesn't mean there isn't one. I laugh at the very notion. The fact is you don't need a tool to KNOW God is real. You have every thing you need within you to be able to know God is real as the bible says and you WILL be held accountable for your flat out rejection of God and your open rebellion.
@Wensteri Many peoples hearts are so hardened to accepting God that there is NOTHING God could do to prove to them that he is God! These people will always try to come up with ANOTHER explanation that fits into THEIR own belief system or science. The science is completely FLAWED however. It is flawed in that you IMMEDIATELY remove the God factor from the equation. You automatically assume that THERE IS NO GOD! Science isn't assumption its observation. YOU pick and choose what you want to observe
@Suge212 I'm watching videos like these because I'm truly interested in the historical Jesus studies. And the more I look into the historical accuracy of The Bible, the more it smells like a load of bullshit. I don't doubt your sincerity, but I dare say that if you were a muslim, you'd be saying the same thing about Allah, and if you were a hindu, you'd be saying the same thing about Brahma etc.
@Suge212 I laugh at the very notion that you would use the argument "the absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence". There's a wide range of things you can't prove nor disprove. You can't disprove fairies or lepricons but it's reasonable to assume that there are none because of the lack of evidence. I certainly don't have anything within me to be able to KNOW God is real. Justify the claim that the god of the Bible is real and the god of the Qur'an isn't.
@Wensteri First of all if your so "interested" in the historical accuracy of the bible you should first of all read it. I can tell you haven't or at least not with any conviction. Second if you have done any real in depth study you would KNOW that the archeological evidence discovered that supports the historical accuracy of the bible is overwhelming. Combine that with the countless 100% accurate prophecies in the bible, it stands alone from all other religions. Do some unbiased research.
I can't speak of the mindset of other faiths. However if I were the devil I'd likely go out deceiving people and creating religions on my behalf. That is indeed whats been going on. Let me ask you something. Do you believe in evolution? Or how about the big bang? If so please explain why.
Well, if you read chapters 1 and 2 of the first book of Moses, you'll find two different creation stories, both of which are not true. Even if you dispute evolution, you can't say the Bible is accurate because it contradicts itself. Outside of the Bible, there's no evidence for Moses (who supposedly lived for 120 years), the exodus, the story of Noah, a guy named Methuselah (who lived for 969 years!)... The Old Testament consists of really old stories passed down from one generation to another.
@Wensteri Two creation stories huh? Please explain. I have read Genesis and Exodus many times and I only ever found one. Often times when the bible seems to contradict itself it is our own misunderstanding. If your not closely examining the scripture in its original Greek and Hebrew language and context it is very easy to misinterpret.
Lawrence Krauss explained how our universe came about from nothing. It involves quantum physics, which I don't really understand, but I guess he does. Or maybe the devil forged the evidence to test our faith - not ruling that out.
It's interesting that religious people expect atheists to know about evolution and cosmology. It seems to me that you don't know much about the origin of your religion. Do you even know how who wrote the Bible and where the stories come from? Just a tip: it wasn't God. Countless 100 % accurate prophecies? Name ten.
@Wensteri 8.) The prediction of the ruling kingdoms from the Babylonian times to now. How they would rise and fall and in the exact order.
9.) The changing of Gods times and laws.
10.) The rise and first fall of the Roman Catholic church (including dates) and its persecution of the Saints (true biblical based Christians.) Right down to the location of the Vatican, the rituals and clothing they wear.
12.) God blessing nations who bless Israel and cursing those who curse Israel. Note how the United States is hit by a major disaster within 24 hrs of peace talks with Israel in order to get Israel to give up more land to the Palestinians. God said do not divide my land. Hurricane Katrina was one of these disasters.
In the first creation story, God creates the heavens and the earth from nothing. He then creates a bunch of stuff and finally, he creates man. In the second story, he creates Adam out of dust because he can. Adam has some fun in the Garden of Eden, gets bored and asks God for some company. God says "ok", takes one of Adam's ribs and molds it into a woman.
You could say they're just two versions of the same story, but still, they contradict each other.
I'll share my final thoughts. Wait for a few minutes, and maybe you'll be able to respond. Man's knowledge has indeed increased. Ironically, it's religion that's hindering scientific growth. If the rebirth of Israel is indisputable proof of the Bible's correctness, then Jesus should be on his way to discipline us heretics. Boy, do we deserve it. The foretelling of Christ's first coming and the actual event are in the Bible which I obviously don't find very reliable.
@Wensteri You literally are made up of dirt. Tell me...What do you eat? Where does it come from? Where did those foods get THEIR resources to become food? You are what you eat and the things you eat are also the things THEY eat. Where does it all come from?
@Wensteri When you die what happens to your body? Could it possibly go BACK to the dusts of the earth from which it came, as the bible claims? Do you think you and the food you eat just manifested itself from some other dimension and then vanishes back into some other realm? NO! It quite literally comes from the dust of the earth LOL. ALL OF IT!
I don't mean to say that religion is the root all evil. I suppose if you have some faith in your life, it's ok. But if you really take the Bible literally and search it for moral values, it can have horrible consequences. Look at the Westboro Babtist Church.
The food I eat gets its energy from the Sun. I don't know much about the cycle of life, but no matter how you look at it, your point is far fetched. Man wasn't created out of dirt.
@Wensteri Oh I don't disagree with you one bit. The bible can be so misinterpreted its sick. The bible warns of this very thing. When I see all these denominations and false prophets etc. It simply indicates to me the signs of the times as foretold in the bible. If we wanted to examine its prophecies with the methods of probability. It is IMPOSSIBLE that these things have come to pass as it stated. Yet there it is. Prophecy is what God uses in the bible so that we can know HE is God.
When I die, I don't really care what happens to my body. I'm going to be an organ donor. Maybe I'll get cremated, maybe buried. My body will go back to the dusts of the earth but it certainly didn't come from earth.
@Wensteri Then where did it come from? You just said it goes BACK to the dusts of the earth? How can it go BACK to something from which it never came?
@Wensteri What is also interesting about the bible is it says all things are held together by God and in God through his WORD. Word implies sound. Modern day science has now discovered that all things literally ARE held together by resonant frequencies or SOUND. Also that words actually have an effect on the surrounding environment, especially water, which is the most reactive elements. Do a search on Cymatics. You'll find it quite amazing.
@Wensteri When we see ancient etchings of hieroglyphics in a cliff side, we don't automatically assume that it appeared there at random by thousands of years of wind erosion. We see intelligent design and KNOW it had to be done by a form of intelligence. The same goes in nature. The mathematical formulas and symmetries and fractal geometries found in all things ARE the evidence by which YOU have within you to recognize as the work of God, by which you will be held accountable for your unbelief.
The Teleological argument (or design argument) for the existence of God is valid, I agree, but it does have its pitfalls. For example, while you can postulate that the design in nature is implicit of an intelligent designer, you can make no qualitative arguments about that designer. To explain, it is perfectly fine to assert that the design in nature is implicit of a designer, but it is a leap in logic to assert that that designer is called Jehovah or Allah, as it could be anything!
@spazabarri gracious of you to say so but i think you communicated a lot more than in yr comment than i did in mine - i just wanted to bung you "non sequitur" for future use =)
This was an important point made by David Hume. I think the design argument is not enough to create faith, only affirm it in someone who already has it. Thoughts?
@Suge212you should've followed 'God' by a fullstop not a comma followed by: " by which you will be held accountable for your unbelief" - and you were doing so well!
@Wensteri You were given an intelligent mind so that you could recognize intelligence, patterns and design. A dog is not capable of seeing the mechanical workings of the flagellar motor which propels bacterium. But you are. I guarantee that if Darwin were able to know what we know now about the complexities of life he would have to rework his entire theory. The theory of Darwin and evolution have collapsed and is no different then climate gate. Scientists DO LIE to serve their agendas.
Darwin didn't know a whole lot about evolution. He just came up with the theory. He said that the complexity of living organisms would suggest that they were designed and that if evolution were true, there would be fossil records of transitional forms. Evolution by natural selection pretty much covers the design stuff, and we now have the evidence to support it. Darwin wasn't always right, but if he were alive today, he'd pat himself on the back. But enough with that.
@Wensteri Also, what about the bibles claim that the things which are seen are made up of the things which are unseen? Modern science didn't figure that one out until just recently, yet it was written thousands of yrs ago. It's funny..Once an atheist really begins to study and know the bible they usually go the rout of acknowledging its information as being pretty advanced and then move in to the "aliens wrote it" phase.
@Wensteri Indeed I agree with you that religions are a horrible thing. Including modern day Christianity. Most of what you see as being Christianity today is NOT biblical. Also foretold by the bible. There is only one truth in my mind and one duty of man. To love and obey God. I was once a skeptic like yourself until things began to happen in my life I could not explain by any means. I then began to REALLY study the bible which I too always thought to be a collection of stories. I found othewise
@Wensteri Going back to mans knowledge increasing for a moment. I'm not saying your an evolutionist but in reference to them. By their own laws of evolution, they would have it that mans knowledge would of incrementally had to increase in small amounts over thousands of years. We should still be riding around on horses by their definitions. Yet we see a pattern of slow advancement and then an astronomical EXPLOSION in knowledge. Going from horses to space in 100 yrs should be impossible.
@Wensteri The bible often gives an outline and summary of an event first and then goes back and explains some of the details it deems as important. That's all this is in regards to Adam coming from the dust of the earth. And I ask you, did we not come from the dust of the earth? Tell me that is wrong lol. Also did you know that a man have every bit of genes to fully become a woman? However a woman does not have the genes to become a man. Interesting.
@Wensteri As far as the ages of men in the early years. Man was originally created immortal. It was there own sin by which man brought death upon themselves. God said this day you shall surely die. If you know anything about scripture, a day is like a 1000 yrs to God and 1000 yrs like a day. Notice how not one biblical character lived to be 1000 yrs old. Indeed that day man surely died. Also take notice of the gradual decline of mans lifespan since then. It's all written.
There's very little information on Jesus. He probably was a real person, but there certainly
isn't a shred of evidence to support the miracles. Hearsay, at best. The Bible conflicts with biology, geography, history, common sense and, occationally, with itself. You'd expect God to have a better case for himself. Search the Bible for moral guidance, and you'll end up like Fred Phelps. You can interprete the writings any way you like. Ever wondered why we have so many Christian denominations?
Evolution and The Big Bang are scientific facts. It's not a matter of belief, rather a matter of ignorance and denial. Why do I believe in evolution? Because of the overwhelming
evidence from fossil and DNA records to the geographical distribution of animals. As for
the Big Bang, if you observe other galaxies, you can see that they're moving away from us.
Our universe is expanding. That leads to the conclusion that at some point, there was a singularity of infinite density and temperature.
@Wensteri LOL evolution and the big bang are not facts. They are theories based on observations that don't really offer definite proof. Its so naive to think that in our short little lifespans we can KNOW how a universe that is supposedly billions of years old formed, simply by a microcosm in all time of observation. Look there is no debate. You have FAITH in your science even though there is as much if not more apparent flaw in it as any religion. I have faith in God. End it here.
LOL Evolution was a theory when Darwin pitched the idea in the 19th century. Now we know because of the overwhelming evidence. Are you really naive enough to think that science is more flawed than religion? Science has the evidence, religion has a bunch of bullshit stories made up thousands of years ago. Believing them takes some serious faith.
@Wensteri I'll refer you to an ex evolutionist and professor in the field, named Walter Veith. You should listen to what he has to say on the topic. I'll even link you to specific videos.
@Suge212 The flu virus EVEOLVES all the time. That's why we need a new flu shot every year. The Big bang is probable since the entire Univerese is expanding.
@Qopel The flu virus MUTATES all the time. BIG difference. The big bang is as logical as believing in Santa and his belly is expanding every year. The media goes to great lengths to help you fool your children into a belief like Santa. Using the NORAD Santa tracker every year. What makes you think they don't do the same thing to you regarding certain aspects of science and politics? Are you above being lied to? Research climate gate.
@Suge212 I'm not shure people need to believe before God reveals Himself. Some cry out to Him in dispear, without knowing He exists. I believe God reveals Himself to those who honestly seek Him. To those that want to believe. So I believe the search comes first. People only have to knock and God will open the door.
@Qopel Science can not explain the origin of the universe. Science can not explain the origin of DNA. You can believe they can. But that's not science. Freemasonry is heavily connected with the esotheric side of life. Research Blavatsky, Bailey, Besant, Pike. The powers that be believe in God. Lucis Trust deals with the theosophical side of the UN. No God? Go tell them that.
@EdjeBos Um...Never heard of the Big Bang. It's science's eplaination of the origin of the Universe. Ever hear of evelution? It's science's explainantion of the origin of DNA (evolved from RNA). Of course it's science. OK I will tell them there's no God.
@Qopel Oh yeah, the singularity, right? The something close to nothingness that spontaniously created everything by exploding.. If you're satisfied with that, that's ok with me. But it's not science. I don't get you guys. If I mention abiogenesis in a debate with an evolutionist, they tell me evolution only applies to living material. But it still explaines life starting from non-life all by itself? You're easily satisfied. I say it's bullocks.
@EdjeBos If you add up everything in the universe, it equals zero. That's math...a science. I'm easily satisfied? This comming from a fool who is given a book of fairy tailes and is satified it's all true without question! Chemestry explains life from non-life. It took amino acids and lightniing in order to get the first RNA.
@EdjeBos Did you know that they were able to reproduce the same process (creating life from amino-acids and electricity) in a labratory? If you saw it yourself, you still wouldn't believe it. Did you know the hubble telescope can see the bing bang happen 1000 years after the explosion? If you saw it yourself, you stil wouldn't believe it. It's called IGNORANCE.
@Qopel They created some aminoacids. Not life. Don't kid yourself. The problems with the 'Big Bang' are numerous. All you see is interpretations of photo's. Wishfull thinking. You are what you accuse me of. I'm telling you, the rulers of this world laugh at you for believing this. Just look at what their doing. Their hero's: Blavatsky, etc. Or don't. You risk being wrong. That's scary..
@EdjeBos "Called the Hubble Ultra Deep Field, the view represents the deepest portrait of the visible universe ever achieved by humankind. The snapshot reveals the first galaxies to emerge from the so-called "dark ages," the time shortly after the big bang when the first stars reheated the cold, dark universe." -NASA
Feel free to look at the picture yourself on the NASA wbsite.
@EdjeBos Religion told us the Earth was the center of the Universe. Science proved that wrong. Religion said the Earth was flat. Science proved that wrong. Religion said that the Earth is 3000 years old. Science proved that wrong. You say " Science can not explain the origin of the universe." LOL It alleady has. You say "Science can not explain the origin of DNA. " LOL...It already has!

If you want sources, I can provide the proper ones!!! Why do you think in St. Louis they passed a law (MIAC Report) where they considered people a terrorist for carrying such a movie called Zeitgiest? Have any of your cheney people heard of COINTELPRO?

This dude, whoever he is, has based his research on biased sources which appear to be nothing more than puppetized agents of the Jesuit Order of the Vatican (The Society of Jesus). Peter Joseph, as well as many other scholars before him such as Jordan Maxwell, Arthur Drews, and Phil Valentine, been exposed how Jesus Christ is nothing more than a mythical personage of the SUN!! Wake up and take them damn mental chains off your brain and remove the parasitic global elites' dicks out of your asses!
It is hilarious that a film repeatedly bashing the RCC should be made by Jesuit puppets. Face it, Zeitgeist is a collection of bogus stuff, half-truth and lies, knitting mental chains all the time.
Acharya S. will go down in history as a liar, she should admit that her case is a fraud and then it can be dismissed as a mistake that she was sorry for. She should tell her sorrow to Jesus first.
in court if its proven that you have lied than anything youve said after isnt worth anything so the fact that zeitgest has mis led people on so many things means that its not worth shit and its down right SCARRY the number of people who see zeitgest and become atheists and non beleivers...
@kidsarocker Thumbs up!!! I was waiting for it the whole time! Why would I'm still trying to figure out how Christians are connected to the Federal Reserve and 911...
I think zeitgeist did screw up but it had a lot of correct good points, just screwed it up with disinfo. This just attacks this dosent hold any information. i gotta admit it does an excellent job. callhan summed up how i feel except about jesus. i just havent seen the evidence myself yet.
nonono, listen, Zeitgeist did not screw up. Joseph knew exactly what he was doing. I didn't see this video, but please, research " externalization of heirarchy". THey're externalizing their relligion upon you, after they captured your attention with those facts that you could have researched 100 years ago.

1)The arguments presented by the zietgeist film is not new. These arguments originated from Madame Petrova Blavatsky's synthesis of truth along with interpretations from Gerald Massey, etc. They were easily refuted in the 19th century.

Eyeapetus33 1 year ago

@dracco73 You say all religions are garbage.Which one is not then atheism?Or science? Where is truth ?How do you find it? Any ideas?
VESANG 11 months ago
@VESANG Atheism is not a religion. It has no tenants. It is simply "non-theist". Science is the best way to search for answers. Not to rely on bronze age myths to fill in the gaps. It's best to admit we do not know a lot of things, than to invent gods to seperate us with ignorance, intolerance and ridiculous nonsense. It's often used as an excuse to kill, rape and oppress. Religion is a catalyst for weak-minded sheep to become dangerous, especially when in masses they can destroy much.
dracco73 11 months ago
@dracco73 My friend i see your point and i am not excusing ridiculous religion but atheism is religion too.If you think that Charles Darwin and company did a lot of good giving the "great idea" of evolution and superior races in the hands of "wonderful people" like Hitler,Stalin and so on i would respectfully disagree with you on that one.Science when it comes to origin and meaning of life is complete non sense as well and answers nothing..
VESANG 11 months ago
@VESANG Atheism wasn't the driving force of Stalin or Hitler. Their lust for power had nothing to do with religion or lack thereof. Atheism is simply non-theist. Science does a lot more to explain our origins and surroundings than theism. One states we don't know, while testing our environment with an open mind and an ever-evolving understanding (science) and the other is claiming we know it already because some bullshit book written over the span of two centuries COME ON!!!!
dracco73 11 months ago
@dracco73 The problem with science is that it is naturally limited and when it comes to origin and meaning you can not apply scientific method /which is to observe, measure and demonstrate/ which makes science useless in this field. What you have there is a bunch of theories that after time get proven wrong from the very same scientific community. Evolution and atheism have big deal to do with a lot of bloody events.I grew up in communist country.
VESANG 11 months ago
@VESANG That's precisely why science will always trump theism. One always takes a step forward in understanding and the other is stuck in the bronze age with bastardized pagan sun worship. Sorry guy theism is the moron's path. Science is full of theory, but more importantly fact. Every fact we know of is born in science. You scoff at science for it's theoretic and that's theism doesn't hold enough water to even be classified as theory!!!! It's alll HYPOTHESIS!!!! Hypothesis based on MYTH!.
dracco73 11 months ago
@dracco73 You are making valid points i am just trying to suggest consistency.Just as ridiculous religion would reject facts and stick to assumptions so it is science when it comes to origin and meaning of life. Scientifically you can prove great intelligent power observing the order, laws, information and design of the universe but science would not go there for the same reasons religion would ignore reason. How did science help you with the Q of origin and meaning so far in your life ?
VESANG 11 months ago
@VESANG Where you are mistaken is that you claim science has answers for the origins of life and existence. The Big Bang, is a theory based on observable facts!!! Does science claim this as fact? NO! Religion however makes the claim that every bit of the bible is true and the their god created the universe and everything. Big difference. Science makes it's best educated guess based on known facts. Religion does NO SUCH THING.
dracco73 11 months ago
@VESANG Furthermore, religion makes these great claims based on ABSOLUTELY NO OBSERVABLE FACT! If an intelligence is responsible for the design, no such creator(s) has been proven to exist, nor is there any evidence that it even remains to have an influence on earth or anything else for that matter. Science is by far the more reasonable means to answer. Making shit up doesn't fly.
dracco73 11 months ago
@dracco73 while science explains many things, it answers nothing. I agree with your attacks on religion, but there are elements of truth which transcend this world, which are hidden in fabrication. The theories of the big bang are as assumptive as salvation through faith. There is a bit of truth in science obscured by misleading BS, as is any religion. Do you dismiss a creative force altogether? I can't understand how a scientist or rationalist could work their way out of the creation concept.
danwenzel 10 months ago
@danwenzel Religion answers absolutely nothing and doesn't explain anything, but our ignorance to the facts that disprove it. There are scientists that discredit "creation" as possibility. That's not the discussion. I am talking about THEISM a god that created the universe. Intelligent design. We could all very well be a simulation by a more intelligent form of life. But to fabricate and intricate religion based on the laws of some imaginary god that we think gives to shits about
dracco73 10 months ago
Religion explains or answers nothing!! You are not thinking outside box. I never argued against intelligent design. I am arguing against theism. The belief in a god with laws etc. There is ABSOLUTELY no proof of a omnipotent, omniscience and omnipresent god or gods that created everything. In fact there is just as much proof that it's mere chance or a race of higher intelligent aliens. But to create a cult and say that some invisible being cares what the hell we do... Come on!!!!
dracco73 10 months ago
@dracco73 happy for you. Live your happy, knowing all life, and give a shit on spewing forth attack after attack on ppl who choose to believe in a God that created the universe and the laws that the universe abides by.

It's a shame so many are fighting about it rather than discussing it peacefully & rationally.

if you actually did any research outside of internet bloggers who cite self proclaimed occult "experts", who cite acharya s who cites her imagination, you would see that though other religions may have existed before Christianity, the mention of an immaculate conception in these other religions (and it was less than six which even remotely mention anything close to this) not mentioned until well after the story of Jesus had been established and circulated, around approximately 3rd Century AD.
redlightdeath 1 year ago

FretsOnFire 1 year ago
Or the "heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together"? Sounds like a pretty good ancient description of the implosion, blast, and mushroom cloud to me! How about the army of 200,000,000 that comes from the east? The population of the entire world may not have equaled that in 90 A.D., when that was written in Revelation 9:16, but that's about the size of the forces China can marshal today, if they need to "call out the reserves", so to speak.
FretsOnFire 1 year ago

The ancients, obviously, could see that planet in ways we now can not.
ineedfiles 2 years ago
"Amen" comes from a hebrew verb, "aman" ("אמן").
mawa89g 2 years ago 7
you are right. i AM an idiot.
What does it mean now?
when was it decided that it was ok to change the meanings of words?
ineedfiles 2 years ago
You're no idiot because you made a mistake :-)
Holocaust actually isn't that far away from its "older" meaning, it can also mean something completley burned.
Meanings of words often change...the important thing is not how people understood the word in other times (but it might be interesting), but how you understand it today, I think.

MIRACLES.

Nidder1 2 years ago
@sergiost The problem with atheists is that they dismiss any shred of evidence that goes against THEIR beliefs, inhibiting dialects and truth. The God factor is immediately dismissed in all forms of science, despite the fact that there is clear intelligent design. Some people have come to the conclusion in their own minds that there is no God. Let me share with you a secret. God reveals himself to those who first believe in him and then seek him. A catch 22 for an atheist.
Suge212 2 years ago 3
@Suge212 Intelligent design's only argument is complexity. That's it. Evolution by natural selection pretty much explains how species, step by step, become so complex. Intelligent design certainly isn't a fact. As for your little secret, that's called autosuggestion - if you want to believe something, you'll believe it and you may get some spiritual confirmation. The problem is, it doesn't matter what you believe in. Basically, your subconscious mind is lying to you.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Wensteri You guys seem to have a word for everything to explain things don't you? Look don't believe me when I say to you that God revealing himself is a very real and PHYSICAL experience. I must be lying or under some kind of delusion. The fact that I have dreams that come true. That nothing happens by coincidence anymore. All just lies or delusions. What I know to be true is this. Your spirit is crying out for God (which is why you watch videos like this) yet your flesh is screaming "NO GOD!"
Suge212 2 years ago
@Wensteri Just because YOU haven't come to know or have seen a thing, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just because you can't prove GOD by means of your scientific instruments doesn't mean there isn't one. I laugh at the very notion. The fact is you don't need a tool to KNOW God is real. You have every thing you need within you to be able to know God is real as the bible says and you WILL be held accountable for your flat out rejection of God and your open rebellion.
Suge212 2 years ago 2
@Wensteri Many peoples hearts are so hardened to accepting God that there is NOTHING God could do to prove to them that he is God! These people will always try to come up with ANOTHER explanation that fits into THEIR own belief system or science. The science is completely FLAWED however. It is flawed in that you IMMEDIATELY remove the God factor from the equation. You automatically assume that THERE IS NO GOD! Science isn't assumption its observation. YOU pick and choose what you want to observe
Suge212 2 years ago 2
@Suge212 I'm watching videos like these because I'm truly interested in the historical Jesus studies. And the more I look into the historical accuracy of The Bible, the more it smells like a load of bullshit. I don't doubt your sincerity, but I dare say that if you were a muslim, you'd be saying the same thing about Allah, and if you were a hindu, you'd be saying the same thing about Brahma etc.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Suge212 I laugh at the very notion that you would use the argument "the absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence". There's a wide range of things you can't prove nor disprove. You can't disprove fairies or lepricons but it's reasonable to assume that there are none because of the lack of evidence. I certainly don't have anything within me to be able to KNOW God is real. Justify the claim that the god of the Bible is real and the god of the Qur'an isn't.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Wensteri First of all if your so "interested" in the historical accuracy of the bible you should first of all read it. I can tell you haven't or at least not with any conviction. Second if you have done any real in depth study you would KNOW that the archeological evidence discovered that supports the historical accuracy of the bible is overwhelming. Combine that with the countless 100% accurate prophecies in the bible, it stands alone from all other religions. Do some unbiased research.
Suge212 2 years ago
I can't speak of the mindset of other faiths. However if I were the devil I'd likely go out deceiving people and creating religions on my behalf. That is indeed whats been going on. Let me ask you something. Do you believe in evolution? Or how about the big bang? If so please explain why.
Suge212 2 years ago
Well, if you read chapters 1 and 2 of the first book of Moses, you'll find two different creation stories, both of which are not true. Even if you dispute evolution, you can't say the Bible is accurate because it contradicts itself. Outside of the Bible, there's no evidence for Moses (who supposedly lived for 120 years), the exodus, the story of Noah, a guy named Methuselah (who lived for 969 years!)... The Old Testament consists of really old stories passed down from one generation to another.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Wensteri Two creation stories huh? Please explain. I have read Genesis and Exodus many times and I only ever found one. Often times when the bible seems to contradict itself it is our own misunderstanding. If your not closely examining the scripture in its original Greek and Hebrew language and context it is very easy to misinterpret.
Suge212 2 years ago
Lawrence Krauss explained how our universe came about from nothing. It involves quantum physics, which I don't really understand, but I guess he does. Or maybe the devil forged the evidence to test our faith - not ruling that out.

It's interesting that religious people expect atheists to know about evolution and cosmology. It seems to me that you don't know much about the origin of your religion.

The foretelling of Christ's first coming and the actual event are in the Bible which I obviously don't find very reliable.

@Wensteri When you die what happens to your body? Could it possibly go BACK to the dusts of the earth from which it came, as the bible claims? ALL OF IT!
Suge212 2 years ago
I don't mean to say that religion is the root all evil. I suppose if you have some faith in your life, it's ok. But if you really take the Bible literally and search it for moral values, it can have horrible consequences. Look at the Westboro Babtist Church.
The food I eat gets its energy from the Sun. I don't know much about the cycle of life, but no matter how you look at it, your point is far fetched. Man wasn't created out of dirt.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Wensteri Oh I don't disagree with you one bit. The bible can be so misinterpreted its sick. The bible warns of this very thing. When I see all these denominations and false prophets etc. It simply indicates to me the signs of the times as foretold in the bible. If we wanted to examine its prophecies with the methods of probability. It is IMPOSSIBLE that these things have come to pass as it stated. Yet there it is. Prophecy is what God uses in the bible so that we can know HE is God.
Suge212 2 years ago
When I die, I don't really care what happens to my body. I'm going to be an organ donor. Maybe I'll get cremated, maybe buried. My body will go back to the dusts of the earth but it certainly didn't come from earth.

@Wensteri Then where did it come from? You just said it goes BACK to the dusts of the earth? How can it go BACK to something from which it never came?
Suge212 2 years ago

Suge212 2 years ago
Darwin didn't know a whole lot about evolution. He just came up with the theory. He said that the complexity of living organisms would suggest that they were designed and that if evolution were true, there would be fossil records of transitional forms. Evolution by natural selection pretty much covers the design stuff, and we now have the evidence to support it. Darwin wasn't always right, but if he were alive today, he'd pat himself on the back. But enough with that.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Wensteri Also, what about the bibles claim that the things which are seen are made up of the things which are unseen? Modern science didn't figure that one out until just recently, yet it was written thousands of yrs ago. It's funny..Once an atheist really begins to study and know the bible they usually go the rout of acknowledging its information as being pretty advanced and then move in to the "aliens wrote it" phase.
Suge212 2 years ago
@Wensteri Indeed I agree with you that religions are a horrible thing. Including modern day Christianity. Most of what you see as being Christianity today is NOT biblical. Also foretold by the bible. There is only one truth in my mind and one duty of man. To love and obey God. I was once a skeptic like yourself until things began to happen in my life I could not explain by any means. I then began to REALLY study the bible which I too always thought to be a collection of stories. I found othewise
Suge212 2 years ago
@Wensteri Going back to mans knowledge increasing for a moment. I'm not saying your an evolutionist but in reference to them. By their own laws of evolution, they would have it that mans knowledge would of incrementally had to increase in small amounts over thousands of years. We should still be riding around on horses by their definitions. Yet we see a pattern of slow advancement and then an astronomical EXPLOSION in knowledge. Going from horses to space in 100 yrs should be impossible.
Suge212 2 years ago
@Wensteri The bible often gives an outline and summary of an event first and then goes back and explains some of the details it deems as important. That's all this is in regards to Adam coming from the dust of the earth. And I ask you, did we not come from the dust of the earth? Tell me that is wrong lol. Also did you know that a man have every bit of genes to fully become a woman? However a woman does not have the genes to become a man. Interesting.
Suge212 2 years ago
@Wensteri As far as the ages of men in the early years. Man was originally created immortal. It was there own sin by which man brought death upon themselves. God said this day you shall surely die. If you know anything about scripture, a day is like a 1000 yrs to God and 1000 yrs like a day. Notice how not one biblical character lived to be 1000 yrs old. Indeed that day man surely died. Also take notice of the gradual decline of mans lifespan since then. It's all written.
Suge212 2 years ago
There's very little information on Jesus. He probably was a real person, but there certainly
isn't a shred of evidence to support the miracles. Hearsay, at best. The Bible conflicts with biology, geography, history, common sense and, occationally, with itself. You'd expect God to have a better case for himself. Search the Bible for moral guidance, and you'll end up like Fred Phelps. You can interprete the writings any way you like.
Wensteri 2 years ago
@Wensteri LOL evolution and the big bang are not facts. They are theories based on observations that don't really offer definite proof. Its so naive to think that in our short little lifespans we can KNOW how a universe that is supposedly billions of years old formed, simply by a microcosm in all time of observation. Look there is no debate. You have FAITH in your science even though there is as much if not more apparent flaw in it as any religion. I have faith in God. End it here.
Suge212 2 years ago
LOL Evolution was a theory when Darwin pitched the idea in the 19th century. Now we know because of the overwhelming evidence. Are you really naive enough to think that science is more flawed than religion? Science has the evidence, religion has a bunch of bullshit stories made up thousands of years ago. Believing them takes some serious faith.

@Qopel Science can not explain the origin of the universe. Science can not explain the origin of DNA. You can believe they can. But that's not science. Acharya S. will go down in history as a liar, she should admit that her case is a fraud and then it can be dismissed as a mistake that she was sorry for. She should tell her sorrow to Jesus first.

in court if its proven that you have lied than anything youve said after isnt worth anything so the fact that zeitgest has mis led people on so many things means that its not worth shit and its down right SCARRY the number of people who see zeitgest and become atheists and non beleivers...

anyone else wondered why the zeitgeist movie never mentions the illuminati?

That's the one thing that Zeitgeist doesn't lie about - it says all there is about the Iluminati today: nothing. They don't exist anymore.
