And added to that, the worst qualities of humanity are aspired. Pride, hatred, aggression, greed, promiscuity. It's a very dark time, and complete contrast to the bright and up beat 90s. And not a patch on it either. As you point out, predominantly, games perpetuate passivity and aggression.

I was talking about this to my sister, Japan's Miyazaki of Studio Gibli hand draws cartoons that look 3D, yet, with better technology, the arrogant fools of today can barely produce something that doesn't look like it was scribbled by a 2 year old. The animation style of this show was ahead of it's time. They really pushed the envelope on creepiness on this show too. Some stuff probably was too gruesome for kids, but I watched this show every Saturday morning and I turned out okay! :)

Well, We have the Video Game and the Third Movie (that will be CG)coming out, both of witch Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis wrote and will feature the Original team, including Bill Murry and Ernie Hudson.

2009 is a good year to be a GB fan, the game comes out and its the first movies 25th anniversary. Ghostbusters 3 will be out in 2010.

one was live action that came before the movie called the ghostbusters then there was the cartoon that came before The Real Ghostbusters, but after the movie. it was based on the live action show. it was titled "ghostbusters" thats why (to avoid copyright) the movie had to call their show, "the real" ghostbusters
