would of been nice if you could hold the camera STILL so we can see things instead of jerky shots at the floor.......learn your camera and how to walk with it,,,,
The odd thing is, built in 1989 and just barely 20 years old this theater seemed ill fated from the start. And none of the companies over the years put money into the ailing complex. Sure maybe its wasnt the grandest of places but I miss this place, as a product of the eighties my self they just don't build movie theaters like this anymore.
I worked here for a brief time as a projectionist. This is the Lincoln Village 6 at McCormick and Devon in chicago, now closed. But still standing. The final chain to operator was Village Entertainment/FunAsian and they had no intent to invest in the "used up" nature of the complex. Hence why they sort of just walked out of the place.
By the final months the theaters stunk, everything was warn out or forgotten and the place its self had a strange dying vibe (particularly upstars).
where is this located i would love to visit this place is it close to texas and what movie poster was that on the wall great vid please rtespond back....
