  • 完璧ですね!

    素晴らしいです!!

  • Follow me, to that place Follow me to a land across the shining sea

Waiting beyond the world we have known

Beyond the world the dream could be

And the joy we have tasted

Follow me along the road that only love can see

Rising above the fun years of the night

Into the light beyond the tears

And all the years we have wasted

Damn, I need to watch innocence again...

  • Can someone tell me which instrument the soloist is playing at 9:04?

  • @stephyc101 a brown flute hunny

  • irelevant ;)

  • i just want to tell you,all classic guitarist interprets, that composers are higher level than you, simple sheet players ...no ofeense :)

  • @iulianro81 offense is spelled with 2 f's not 3 e's

  • me pregunto cuantas personas presentes en aquel concierto habran derramado lagrimas de emocion

  • Is that a oboe soloist or a clarinet? I'm sorry i'm too ignorant

  • @soullessSiIence

That instrument is an English Horn, very similar to the oboe but pitched in the key of f,a fifth lower than the oboe.:)

  • anyway,a compose guitarist like Paco di lucia it will be every time better in front of a simple guitar interpret and a sheet slave like John Williams.they like him are litlle pieces in front of composers. For me,Composers are like Doctors, and interprets like nurses, tiny ones :P

  • I don't like this sound.it doesn't match with song style.Paco di Lucia is for this ;)He has best interpretation of...this is just one classical interpretation, classical quiet feeling with tiny nuance passings ...cheap..anyway he is a very good guitar player i see.. :)

  • @iulianro81 What style you think it is.. Have you researched about this piece? It needs to be in the flamenco style at times but not always... Pepe Romero definitely has the best interpretation of this piece in my opinion, I personally don't like Paco di Lucia's version of this at all... He changed the composer's intentions to his own personal style. Ofcourse if you don't care about the music itself but focuses more on the performer then that's fine... John Williams dosn't style things you know.

  • What genre would this be called?

  • saikou !

  • How many conductors does it take to screw in a light bulb?

Doesn't matter. Nobody is paying any attention anyway.

    beautiful, sad, emotional and exquisite!

  • John williams...the KING!!!!!!

  • Great show !!!!!.... Ion Mateescu,Romania

  • @TheMATEESCU an agree from Hungary!

  • I have the video from "The Seville Concert" on video cassette...but not this video...a great performance of a beautiful composition by Rodrigo!

  • I only have to hear a few bars and I know it's the fantastic John Williams playing.

    Superb Musician

  • beyond comment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @wigeon82 and yet you've commented, despite your feeble inability to convey the "john-ness" of this piece. I suppose I can only respect your valiant effort; you've tried, and failed, but you've tried.

  • My favourite piece, who can play this better? No one!

  • In my opinion John Willims's rendering of Aranjuez is the BEST!!

  • in my opinion that xue fei yang is the best solo performance for this song ... particularly last solo part of this composing . generally of course paco and john greatfully guitar expert. especially xue fei - despite being a woman - not only using her fingers remarkably but also her composing so clear and fast perfecty.

  • @hicsaymaondokuzharf I heard Xuefei play this at the proms on youtube and she had a lousy Takamine electroacoustic guitar. She accelerates way too hard on the fullstrum and her playing was very uneven. She now has a smallman guitar the first one courtesy of John Williams and I'd like to hear her on that guitar. Sorry can't agrree with you...John Williams interpretation is the benchmark for this piece. Technical genius and suberb musician.

  • @lflarry1 i have never said xue fei is better musician from john williams . i said only i like her performance bcoz her perf sounds like to me for this piece.of course their instrument settings could be different just like everybody's music pleasure ;) otherwise , absolutely john williams is the king and im big fan of his technique too ... i wont controversy which playing music piece is better.only i said her performance sounds like to me,we could have had the different music pleasure ;)

  • @hicsaymaondokuzharf Well, Can't argue with that. Music can be purely subjective and can come down to what flavor you personally perfer. I can understand that....If you like her playing I won't argue with you.I've read her bio and John Williams was impressed by her. When It comesdown to it I wish I could play as good as she does. So it's just a friendly discussion anyway, right? :)

  • Wonderfull work :)

  • Yeah well Paco is a "show boat"(also don't like what he's done to Flamenco music) , John Williams is a very humble man and to say his playing is excellent would be an understatement. I think Paco De Lucia's version is ok. but I prefer this particular interpretation.

  • in my opinion paco de lucia played this better

  • I imagine John Williams doing a duo piece with Peter White-that would be really something - if their EGO factor is under control ?

  • Hauntingly excellent !

  • Some say that Concerto de Aranjuz is the best piece ever written for the instrument guitar, however I am of the opinion that John Williams is the best out there.

  • right ;D john williams es Dios XD

  • In my opinion, no one plays like John Williams. It's as if this music was written for him to play.

  • impressive technique, so effortless.
