Does anyone know how to change your Eco powers? I'm stuck right when you go into the Volcano; It doesn't change my explosion Eco power to the green. Help!

I am playing the PS2 version and when i come to the door leading to the volcano (5:15 in the video), it won't open, no matter what I do (according to the vid, they should open right away). I also can't get back to the cave with my spaceship as it's locked as well. Has enyone had the same problem? Thank you very much :)

oh my god i figured it out!!!

yes i am on ps2. you fire straight up on that last part to reach that gas ball thing, let go of the controls after you start to climb and when you hit the cloud fire yourself up again, ok?
