@xxtiaan You think that any music video that features some underwater stuff is derivative of that Placebo video? They look nothing alike, apart from the presence of water. I wouldn't be so foolish as to say that the Placebo video is derivative of the video for Portishead's "Only You". They're quite different.

There are dozens, maybe hundreds of music videos shot underwater. They're all unique (and very difficult to film). It's ridiculous to say that any are, as you say, "remakes".

@redblackhockey Placebos vid is COMPLETELY different to portisheads "only you", for one its edited to NOT to look as though its underwater but in slow mo' instead (with shots reversed).

but these guys playing their instruments underwater (exactly like the placebo vid) and have people swimming up to a starburst (exactly like the ash vid)
