I'll tell you where the difference is.. In whichever parts of the video where chris martin is lip singing, all those parts the actions are done in reverse, the video hasnt been reversed. Whereas closely watch the neela vaanam video, through the 'entire' video the lip singing by kamal is done in reverse which according to me is extremely difficult! No point comparing kamal hasan and Chris martin, one's an actor and the other a singer, neither of them directed or choreographed the video anyway!

it's not like coldplay was the first to do the reverse theme...there have been thousands of other instances in numerous movies scenes...basically this reverse theme idea has been existing since the time "Rewind" button was included in VCRs.. LOL... But Neela vaanam sounds and looks better than Scientist and i'm not biased....

true.. the concept has been used..

note * that the first 30 odd seconds in original is shot forward and not reverse..

*the original song has more long shots than the closer ones.. (reverse lip sync problem minimised).

*the highlight is most of the time other characters or the lead character without emphasis on his lip sync abilities.

* the length of the original is lesser than neela vaanam.

* most importantly reverse syncing language like english is easier than that of tamil like language.

It is highly likely that two people have the exat same idea at the same time.. knowing about screenplay myself, this effect is extremely simple, a little kid can be shown how to do reverse technology, its just a mattter of using it effectively like kamal and this guy did... kamal hassan may have or amy not have copied from here, but he did far better and more detailed work then this!

KSR already stated before shooting for the film that the story was inspired by another Hollywood film. You still haven't given me any examples proving how The Proposal posters are like Manmadhan Ambu & even if this were true, KSR and Kamal took no part in it. Promotion design was done by someone else.
