That part was added during filming by the actor who plays Fitzpatrick. Perhaps it's meant to make us think? Chris Jones and Aaron Conners haven't explained it either.
But if it must be explained, I suppose it has something to do with the multiple endings and what kind of person Tex becomes at the end.
Fitzpatick said it as if to ask "Who's side are you on Tex?" ...but of course choosing the words "who are you" contribute to the irony of the statement coming from Fitzpatrick.
