I don't think so, he was a normal person but with disproportional arms feet and hands for a human as well as super human strength, but otherwise looked like a human. Then something happened (can't remember details) and he started to grow fur and turn more "Beast" like, hence his current appearance. This is based off the wiki so i'd assume its fairly true to word, i don't remember him being able to turn into other animals though. Someone correct me if i'm wrong please xD.

Did I just see Pixi? She is apart of The New Mutants. Ok I just looked this up and the mutants in are Prof. X, Magneto, Banshee, Darwin (X-Factor), Havok (X-Factor), Beast, Azazel which is Nightcrawler's demonic father, Mistiuqe. There are some others but my point is Why take a franchise that is already ruined and run it into the ground? It's all about greed my freinds. Sure they may be able to pull one over on the kids but not the real fans. I wouldn't even wipe my ass with this movie.

@deadskinmask213 Well, i'd say that X2 was a very fine, well developed interpretation of the comics. X3 had very nice moments, but was overall pretty disapointing. X-men origins was quite simply awful.

Despite the general crappyness of those last two, i'd say seeing as this is a new director and a completely new vision, its got a chance at being good. We can't really condemn this movie based on the failure of another director. Nor can we condemn it after seeing a mere 1 minute 50 seconds.

He isn't going to alter his vision to fit the exact speciflcations of the comic books or other movies. Instead this will be a self-contained movie. Which i'm fine with, i don't think it has to be exact. As long as its a good, well directed and acted movie with interesting characters, i'll enjoy it.

He basically doesnt care whether it fits exactly with the other movies or with the comics and he's admitted this. First Class will be a self-contained movie. I don't mind this at all, as long as he's picked an interesting roster of characters who work well within the plot he's written. The movies are interpretations of the comics, they don't need to be exact as long as their will directed etc.
