The movie is bad, though as I don't like the Neverending Story book and the movies that are true to it - I don't find it as bad as some fans. However Melody Kay's performance in the movie (not only this song) was great. I wonder why she didn't continue her acting career. Anyone know what happened to her?

this is the only part of this movie that can be "saved" and worth watching. I've just watch the movie tonight (curiosity) and I can't explain how it sucks, I haven't felt this way about a movie in a long time. is like the whole movie sucked my life force leaving me with a huge void while my brain is screaming in endless excruciating agony and pain. this is the worst movie EVER! besides this part all in it sucks more than everything that ever sucked before! I told you!! Tales SUCKS so bad. Its unwatchable. I get some entertainment from NES III I just think of it as all the characters from the original movie on drugs. The performances aren't that bad and the visuals were pretty good. But Oh my god Tales from the Neverending Story had NOTHING good about it. I've tried watching it time after time and each time I either fall asleep, get extremely pissed and shut it off, or something similar. I should use it as a frisbee.
