@MikkiNguyen as far as groceries go certain things (like milk as they mention in the video) are more expensive but as far as rent and utilities and transportation and eating out it's cheaper.
@Kairibaby990 You're crazy if you think utilities in Korea are cheaper. Gas bills for heating a little studio apartment in Korea comes out to over 300,000 won a month. It costs like $100 a month to heat a house in America. It also costs two times more to put gas in your car.
@2pmbangnee about $4 US. 1,000 W = $1, depending on the exchange rate. Right now the exchange rate is about 1,125 W = $1 US I think. You can google the exchange rate...
@esloutlet Doh, I don't think I was specific enough... I wonder if the aloe vera dessert is anything like the juice... yeah I was surprised, my boyfriend is filipino and he got me to try it since his mom got it for him all the time. It's really.... refreshing :)
Here in New Jersey we have several H-marts, anything Korean all the time. They even sell the roasted sweet potatoes outside in season plus a kimbop, sushi inside.
Holy cow!!! A whole isle of instant noodles& i bet those Asian pears are amazing!!! 😄
