There were definitely some mechanical problems with the Rx-7, it's so obvious to see. The Mazda would have won it, I mean look at the jump it got right before the tranny took a fall. So yeah G35 wins.....by default only.

thats a 505hp rx7... big gt 35dual ball bearing turbo.. fully built on e85.. r u guys kidding me .. the only thing that was never changed was the transsmission.. which crapped out at the wrong time.. plus i jumped the light.. soo there was noo need to press hard.. my stock twins with nothing runs low 12s.. but thanks for the support guys..

wow DATS MY 7.. i BLEW THE TRANSMISSION GUYS!! .... i was pretty much test and tunning at dat event.. u can see i launched the car hard out the hole and then it popped out of gear.. then i got it bak and raped first and then it wouldnt get into fucken 2nd< when i got it in and dats all she wrote i drove 2nd all the way down the track.. 3rd was gone... when i got home.. i had no 3rd no reverse and no 5th .... every other gear jus grinded .. suks...

I have the Nismo intake with plenum and mrev2 spacers with the berks HFCs and a stillen exhaust and I'm doing a little better than 14.4 courter mile... but did you notice the times at the end of the track? The G35 finished the courter mile at 14.4 seconds and 96 mph, notice the sign at the left, the RX7 crossed at 19.8 seconds at 51mph LOL, obviously something went wrong. RX7s on STOCK turbos with downpipe+HFC + Exhaust /intercooler = 11s easily
