I was at the game when he ran for 406yds vs Utep. The sad thing was it was the Saturday after thanks giving and I was probably 1 of 25 people in the student section because everybody was home for T-Day. I remember looking at my boy Zack and saying "How many yards does he have?" becuase it seemed like he broke a 40 yarder every play. Then the announcer said " a new NCAA record 406yrs" I felt lucky to be there that day. LT, Absolute Legend.

If a great college career was any indicator for someone's pro career, Ron Dayne would be the league's all-time leading rusher, Reggie Bush would be the most dominant force in the league, and Ryan Leaf would be waging an assault on the all-time passing charts, while Tom Brady serves time as an unknown backup.

McFadden is an unproven back who hasn't done shit in this league yet, hurt OR healthy. LT is a proven back, who I would take over a guy with 'potential' any day. Besides, LT is the feature of his running game. Darren Mcfadden is still competing with Justin Fargas, and Michael Bush for playing time. I say 1350 yards for LT, on a rebound season, and, MAYBE a 1000-yarder for D-Mac, plus a couple hundred receiving yards, and...who knows? Maybe even a few passing yards.

As to comparing Barry to LT, there is no comparison, Barry never have a lottery pick QB, or a decent O line. LT was supposed to be the next Barry, but he wasn't. Barry retired because he did not want to break Walter Payton's all time rushing record, because he loved and respected Payton so much. If you think RB's havn't always been big take a look at some Jim Brown videos, he was bigger than any RB today.
