Manufacturers doesn't seem to realize that duplicating the mechanics of a full size chopper is a desirable art in itself. If the tail gears get damage that's fine... Just buy some extra sets. Get rid of the belt.

Looks nice. I will most likely buy one. One thing though. The BeltCP servo cranks=slop and people did direct to swash mods to remove it. Also, will Xheli have the correct Blades Motor/ESC and tail servo for these? I say go ahead and release with plastic canopy to keep price down. There are plenty of aftermarket canopys available. Please list all of your electronics on your 3D demo of this machine.

They use a tail belt because their cnc machines aren't precise enough to make a good torque tube. TT tail drives are more efficient and easier than belts. Ask Jason Krause ...lying homo.

i have one of the first EXI 450's that came out...still flies awesome. + 2 more upgraded EXI 450's. i'm wanting a 600 size...so i'll for sure give one of these a go !

hey tony, when is this coming out? i live in the uk and i was going to get the hk version but id rather wait and get yours. hopefully there wont be as many probs with it unlike the hk one. plus i loveeeeeeeeeeee!!!! the head design. it looks so attractive compared to the align 1

I have been happy with EXI products. It looks a lot like my TREX. The only reason I bought a TREX is no one made a copy. The canopy would not make a difference to me. I cant airbrush so I would just buy a nice painted one. Put some stickers on the plastic one and use it to fly with. Why mess up your $80 canopy.

If you go plastic, just make sure it's paintable plastic, at least fiberglass can be painted easily at home
