  • Has there ever been a moment where all the blossoms on the Sakura trees bloomed perfectly? If so, I'd love to see it

  • thumbs up if youre a man and your eyes watered

  • YES" CUT MY DICK OFF :) PERFECTO

  • I was really hoping they were going to kiss during this scene. Eh. Sad.

Am I the only one? :P

  • There is an samurai code, that once one has found the perfect cherry blossom, then he is a samurai. The answer to the riddle is, "they are all perfect". At least that is what the director/producer of this movie, obviously had in mind.

  • The best death for the real warrior is death in the battle

  • Perfect. They are all perfect.

This is the best movie with Tom Cruize!!!

  • Tom Cruise is truly a God among actors.

  • you can't tell really without better video quality but Watanabe sheds the most "perfect" tear i have ever seen in cinema. Truely amazing this scene is.

  • I gotta ask this so he wanted Katsumoto wanted Nathan to stab him so that he'll die by the sword right?

  • @FangBoi127 To die by a true warrior is the most significant honor to them

  • @FangBoi127 Because its the way of the samurai, To live by the sword, to die by the sword. Nathan obliged him and gave him an honorable death (by the sword). since Nathan was once considered to be his "enemy", katsumoto asked him to kill him, so he could die like a samurai.

If you watch the movie you can hear Katsumoto tell nathan about 30 seconds before this. "You have regained your honor, let me die with mine"

  • fear is always your enemy it gives nothing but pain and weakness honor is everything for yourself more than others

  • when i die those are going to be my last words

  • I'm a "Live to fight another day,"kind of guy, and to have a scene like this move me, its pretty damn good and well written.

  • I had a tear in my eye in the end

  • such a spiritual movie :(

  • 1 person didn't have his life perfect...

  • i got a movie for ya how about the last nigga on earth starring tom hanks lol

  • Tom Cruise of the best representatives of the Hollywood film of the best samurai films Alholyood and I liked the cat in the film shot and missed Katsumoto Thank you for the section in front of Hollywood in front of Tom Cruz Bay

  • he is not regretting his life :) 'cuz he says : The perfect blossom is a rare thing. You could spend your life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life. !!! i guess now is more clear !

  • @hairosimooo that is exactly it, in his last words he just realized that all of the blossoms are perfect, so intern his life was complete

  • Bravery- no matter what the form. Is always admirable.

  • @Fatboyswim123 Well, that's a little blasé. It's more than just 'dude likes flowers'. It's the last line of the haiku he'd been working on, the haiku he could never find an ending to. He found his ending, and in it the peace that comes with it.

  • He saw IT. Bi-la kaifa.

  • @Fatboyswim123 CORRECT! Religious talk among most ppl usually lead to assumption of each individual's own self being overly wise. A sign of stupidity and lack of wisdom no doubt! However, if you take his words w/ the haiku he said, you would realize he was talking about the life as a "whole". Also "seeing perfect" in his death moment means he achieved peace in his heart. Peace...a very strong word, often misinterpreted by many.

  • @mindsoulbody Well, I'd say; because he saw everything was simply perfect, he acquired peace by this profound realization.

  • @mindsoulbody Because we all live submersed within a finite polarized material realm of opposites one can finally realize that all that seems imperfect is really perfection at any moment in time. Past, present and future.

If you live in the spiritual realm, then this realm offers perfection in all its perfection.

War is complementary to peace as is the beauty of the tree blossoms life complementary to its beautiful wilting death.

  • @ALLinALLgood all you said, true and the ultimate goal in all religions. well said.

  • i cired at this scene in the DVD

  • This is one the reasons to go to Japan, you find peace and goodness. I know for a fact because not only do i go every year and not go for the toys and etc, but to connect with nature

  • Does he mean all deaths are perfect?

  • @2DeathInHonor2 its very much up to interpretation which is why the quote is so deep and spirtual as thejimm2009 said. it seems that he is talking about the chery blssoms themselves but you conceptualizethat he is talking about life itself becuase he simply says "they" are all perfect. it truly is a powerful scene in terms of spirtuality which is why i love it so much:)

  • As a Zen Buddhist, and dailey practitioner of Zazen, this scene is very spiritual to me. When he says "They were all perfect." as he is dying...it is the essence of Zen.

    Namu Amida Butsu

  • "a perfect blossom is a rare thing, and even searchingone wiill not be a wasted life".. katsumoto in his last breat- "they all arfe perfect" wasnt a wasted life

  • this was the moment in which i felt I deid the same way somehow...

  • @aqualord123 wtf are u smoking man

  • @AlexBrasil123123, Asshole

  • @youngkenjutsu

you can LICK this asshole, for all I care. do it now, I just finished taking a sloppy shit......

  • cuz you're an idiot. I hope when you die, someone's there to laugh at YOUR ass

  • Comment removed

  • @AlexBrasil123123 So I take it you're someone who can't separate movies from real life huh?

  • @snothepro

no, I'm just not a smug douche bag that watches movies looking for reasons to talk shit because they have nothing better to do. I like to get absorbed in movies and appreciate it for what it is.

If you don't like people's reactions to the stupid shit you say, then shut the fuck up next time.

  • @AlexBrasil123123 Oh ok cool. How about we back track and take your comment "If you don't like people's reactions to the stupid shit you say, then shut the fuck up next time." - - And just substitute - "If you don't like people's videos and the stupid shit you say, then shut the f*** up next time." And don't wish death on people - bad karma.

  • Ken Watanabe is truly a God among actors.

  • @Kujakuseki01 i totally agree

  • Agreed
