This is great - especially if your cat has to stay indoors.

I adopted some cats which never had the chance to go outside in their life - when I let them out into our garden - for the first couple of months they where running like crazy.

How heavy is the wheel part? I am going to make one too and I was thinking if it was too heavy the cat might have a hard time slowing down because of the inertia and do a face plant and start going around and around. You did a wonderful job on yours. The cat seems to love it. How long was it before they used it? Happy Holidays!

We chose that shape because it was easier to make in that way because it's made of wood. We are making a round one now will post a video of that one in a week or two.

@Cissy1000 I think it might be more comfortable for the cat like this because a perfectly smooth and round wheel has no reference points to look for. I've never seen a cat so confident and running so fast in a wheel.

There is one video and the cat runs fast also, but the wheel has "spokes".
